Sorry not a Portis fan here. He was a buffoon. Glad he's gone. |
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
You're probably in the minority. He did a ton for us when he was here. He played hard, even through injury, sacrificed his body (best blocker I've ever seen) and if you look at his stats, he was a beast. One more year and he would be our all-time leading rusher. He also brought the team together after Taylor left us...he will always be a Redskin to me. One of my favorites.

I'm quite happy in my minority-ness.

Good tracker of FA even if you don't agree with the order.I didn't know Paul P from the Bills was off the board, that was a swing and a miss by the skins.

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
ILB Kevin Burnett asked for a contract too big for the chargers, Malcolm Floyd could go to the ravens

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
49ers are really going after Nnamdi now...and may have the cap advantage over the Jets. After paying Holmes, they're scrambling to restructure contracts to be able to afford Nnamdi...even Mark Sanchez is redoing his deal.

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
Namdi to San Fran makes sense, I actually had Rogers going there. We'll see if Rogers is the fall back for Houston, NY, or San Fran
|
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
Yes NNamdi to SF looks likely
|
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
Any news or rumors on us going after a guard? We still need to fill the hole at RG.

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
I think the Jets will just re-sign Cromartie.
I wouldn't mind seeing him come here though. Ike Taylor is re-signed by the Steelers. We're running out of available CBs. I'd love to get Brent Grimes rather than spending a ton on the highest-profile guys. |

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
Wonder if we could get Rocky Bernard, Cofield's former line-mate? He was just released by the Giants.
