Yes, but they gave us 1 minute of footage yesterday and nothing today. |
Re: Redskins OTAs
Can't say I'm to upset with the team keeping things close to the vest.

I'm good with it......... |
Re: Redskins OTAs
Absolutely! If Mike let the media see everything after saying he and Griffin will do things offensively not seen before it'd be a silly scene. I have little doubt they're working up some serious magic.
Geez oh man I can't wait for these guys to whoop a$$ this season! |

This is a pretty good interview Coach Mike Shanahan did with PFT recently. I don't know if anyone here even knows about it. |

I wonder why everyone seems to think we'll be unvieling some brand new offense. I think the offense will be the same as last except with a little more movement passes and a much much higher level of execution. |
Re: Redskins OTAs
I've talked to a lot of Redskins fans like myself about how the Redskins plan on using Griffin III. Some people have said that think that option/wishbone plays will be incorporated in certain situations. I've even heard stuff about Kyle Shanahan using plays from Baylor's games that Griffin III is already familiar with to go along with the Redskins did offensively last season with Grossman and Beck. RG3 was dangerous in that spread offense after all.

What do you guys/girls think. |
Re: Redskins OTAs
did he really lose 15 pounds? how is there any way to verify that information? i just watched that screen turned 78 yard touchdown in the 2005 chiefs game and he was downright slender. i haven't seen him move since last season. i hope he did slim down and speed up.

What do you guys/girls think.[/quote] I've thought/said all along Tana would start. The more interesting scenario would have been Gaffney also in camp fighting for a battle. Would he have taken Moss' spot? That would have been a better competition for Moss since Gaffney is healthy and knows the system/playbook vs the recovering Hankerson and recovering/new to the system Morgan. Even more interesting would be a true competition between Gaffney and Garcon, but there's no way Mike would let it happen. I'd still give Gaffney the clear edge for knowing the system, general experience and having better overall hands. Given Mike's ego, Garcon is the safest WR on the roster even though he's proved nothing...a big reason I hate it when we give an unproven player a huge contract. |

I'll be out at the Park later today, anything you all want me to specifically look at?

rarely fumbles (4 fumbles) can produce (over 50 rec and 700 yards in each of last 3 seasons) *hasn't faded w age - catches and yards have increased in each of those seasons 68 rec, 5 td, and nearly 1,000 yards last season on the wrong side of 30 |
