How does Garcon qualify as a question mark?
He's not Gaffney.

"2nd biggest talent/threat after Moss"

Haha...you're funny. I see what you did there.

Re: Signing Ochocinco: Te gusta?

When you say "2nd biggest..after Moss" you mean there is one other guy who is a bigger threat right after Moss but there are 3 others who are bigger threats than all of them right? Because any other interpretation is ludicrous.
My biggest concern, like others have said, is whether Ocho would commit to learn the system/playbook. If he's at all serious about extending his career beyond this season learning new tricks will be critical.

The Palmer/Oakland connection probably makes more sense though.

WR is likely still a concern for us IMHO. Moss is the only proven vet on the roster who also knows the system/playbook. Hankerson's injury is worrisome especially when he starts to see heavy contact again. Garcon has one solid season behind him and that's only because everyone else was injured. Morgan I just don't get. One of my guys in the office is a forever SanFran fan and didn't think Morgan should ever have started...very pedestrian. Randy Moss is already a big hit though and has the fans all psyched up. He would have been a great addition for Griffin's sake, especially as an ends zone target, which we still don't really have outside Fred Davis. Plus we'd have two Moss' and how cool would that be!
I knew I wasn't the only one who values players based on the parts of their names they share with other players of different relation! It's why I was so upset when we didn't draft Robert Griffin, the guard from Baylor!

Routine scuttlebutt.
When has a well-known player that has been released NOT been linked as "possible" to Dallas or Washington when they are on the market?

Media scuttlebutt.

Garcon's only solid season was more a result of injury to other players than him breaking out. He's been inconsistent otherwise at best. I get he's a high potential guy, but counting on him as a consistent #1 or even #2 WR right off the bat is the same old pipe dream this franchise and fanbase has experienced time and again.

So Goat...if I'm reading you right, you're into a win now, damn the future approach?

I mean realistically we're not built to win now. However, getting Griffin the best targets especially now as a rookie is wise, right? Help build his confidence w/ early success. Randy Moss would fit the mold as an awesome possession WR and end zone target. Burress to a lesser extent than Moss but still worth brining in. Ocho also to a lesser extent than Moss but worth bringing into camp IMO. What if he decides brings his A game, studies hard and plays lights out...wouldn't it be worth it?

When has Randy Moss ever been a possession WR? The guy knows one route, go deep.

Re: Signing Ochocinco: Te gusta?
This seems to be the crux of it and there's room for honest debate. I think we have one proven WR better than Ocho (Moss) and three question marks (Garcon, Hank, Morgan). I haven't seen anything from our younger guys to really deserve comment...
That's just it. The three in question, only one of them had a great year, two got injured and those two showed some promis prior to getting injured. I think we all had issues with Hank going to the ground after the majority of his catches instead of trying to get more yards.

Out of the rest only AA stands out. One would think Austin, Robertson, and Paul would be doing better at this point. Instead they are moving Paul to TE. I'd easily replace Austin and Robertson with CJ.

One really outstanding year? The year with out their #1 QB playing or #1 WR playing? All his earlier yrs he was second fiddle and really didn't stand out. Heck many in the media and here wonder why we spent so much money on him. Now all of a sudden he's the top dog? Ok.

Reggie Wayne didn't play last year?

Interesting.
