Second game fans reaction "Fire Haslett!!! His defense is awful! I've always thought he was a bad D-Coordinator" Ya'll need to chilllll
 So true. |

Doesn't take long to know if you have an average DC or an excellent one. Haslett is average at best, kinda like RGIII; it took 2 games and people are convinced he is the next great QB and he is. The redskins can do better at DC and I think Morris is that guy. |
Re: Kudos to Jim Haslett and Raheem Morris
Who cares, Morris would still be better and now has 3-4 experience and still would be an upgrade.
Hey you asked, I answered. |

63 points allowed in two games is probably not overreaction though. The defense did some good things today, but ultimately, it's Haslett's job to make adjustments. Can't expect to win a lot of games giving up 30+ points per game. Going against Drew Brees, you give him a pass. Going against Sam Bradford? Ehhhh....no, he needs to take some blame. |
Re: Kudos to Jim Haslett and Raheem Morris
Perhaps Haslett, like me, kept waiting for the front 7 to start dominating like they should have. They should have had Bradford on his ass all day long. Our front 7 did not show up for the game.

Re: Kudos to Jim Haslett and Raheem Morris
For me, it was the lack of adjustment. It wasn't like we were content to play zone and tackle them after a five yard pass, we decided to let them complete a ten yard pass then go make the tackle. I mean, I'm not huge football mind, but wouldn't the zone defense be against a team with beast WRs that can outrun you and make plays down the field? The Rams are definitely not that.
Not only that, Bradford's STRENGTH is beating the zone and being accurate on the short stuff. Don't know why we didn't change it up earlier. Anyway, speaking of accuracy, how about that deep bomb to Hank?! Awesome. Felt like it's been years since we last saw that. |

You know I thought that, but the Rams had a solid game plan. Shift the pocket some and do quick drops. We didn't even have time to get there... |

True, but maybe when Danny F*cking Amendola racks up 130 yds in the first half, maybe he should have made changes. |
Re: Kudos to Jim Haslett and Raheem Morris
Haslett called an amazingly bland and predictable game today. It was so frustrating, especially because the answers seemed so obvious to us. No adjustments made either.

This isn't a good front seven when Orakpo is on the sideline. He makes the difference. |
True, but maybe when Danny F*cking Amendola racks up 130 yds in the first half, maybe he should have made changes.
If not for that one 50 yard catch and run, the entire 15 play series of throws to Amendola would have been a giant waste of time. If you excuse that one as poor execution, there was no reason to change anything because of Amendola.
16 targets for Danny Amendola is more about the state of the Rams offense than the Redskins defense. |

I'm not sure what adjustment can be made when defensive players who should be winning their match-ups don't do so. |
