I was on my way to a sports bar when it happened, and when I got to the bar my friends told me what I missed. Thank god for the internet, and specifically for Dan Steinberg providing radio audio and the TBS clip showing me what I missed. So awesome.

What a day of baseball it is going to be around here! Can't wait! I am Red Sox fan but it is hard not to catch the excitement around here.

I think the Nats pull it off but the O's they have a tough hill to climb today. You never know though!

Yeah, I wish I still lived in Northern Va today, bet its buzzing up their with all the excitement. Huge wins by the Os and Nats yesterday. I put my Nats hat on yesterday after work, thats of course why they won. Ill do the same today. :cool-smil

PS, I have a Dallas-like hate for both the Cards and the Yankees

What a win by the Nats! People were going bonkers last night. So happy for the Nats and Jason Werth. Probably the most memorable hit in Nationals history so far. Great, great, win.

I know the players really don't care at all about the Presidents race but I mean could any inspirational quote be more fitting to a team than that? The whole point of the silly Presidents race is to entertain the fans but it also has held a metaphorical meaning equating Teddy to the team. Always losing but always trying. You can be sure that Teddy is the real mascot of the team and having read that and finishing it with the "Teddy F***ing Roosevelt" seriously could not have been more cool.
