I'm actually worried he is rushing his recovery. This is insanely fast, seemingly faster than AP...

It's actually not unusual for someone to be running 3-4 months post ACL recon.

Q1. How long is the recovery period for this procedure?

A1. Initially, the patient is non weight bearing for 2 weeks. The patient can then wean off of the crutches when they can walk without a limp between weeks 2-6. Slow rehab will be allowed at this time while the bone is still healing in the tunnels. Activities are usually increased from weeks 7 through 12. Around week 12, some patients return to jogging. Patients may then return to sports at 5 through 7 months if they pass functional and strength testing.

Wasn't it far more extensive than just an ACL, though? Didn't he have the LCL torn as well? That requires more time to heal I thought due the fact that it had to be ostensibly stationary for the majority of the rehab process... (I could be making that up).

Either way, I'm an overly cautious person. If I'm the GM I wouldn't allow him to play until week 4 at the earliest regardless of if he's healthy and in shape by week 1.

I thought they said the LCL doesn't make for a longer rehab since he had them both done at the same time.

You're probably right on that. I should check into it.

I'm sure Dan Snyder would appreciate his gift.

Just read thru @HTTR24_7's timeline from last night, could have been the OP for this thread:

basic gist was Griffin instills motivation to play... TW played 14games on one leg, PG had a separated shoulder one game, went to the sideline had it popped in place and kept playing, Morgan blocked downfield even hurt when he saw Griffin out there blocking for Morris. I am sure there were more.

Griffin plays to win the game!

Last year drove 3 to 4 hours to SKINS camp no problem. Didn't think I would do the 7 to 8 hour drive to there new camp but I think/know I will be doing it. Can't wait had a great time.
