Re: Skins vs. Cards Positives + Negatives
I'm wondering how long it's gonna be til players start throwing each other (or coaches) under the bus. Or have we not self-destructed that far yet?
And I'm one of them. But that alone is not going to fix the problems we have on both side of the ball.
You talk like firing Haslett is the cure all for this team. Especially after a game where the offense did the most to lose the game.
It's a start and something that should have done 2 years ago. |

Let me know when someone gets thrown under it, because Id like to hop behind the wheel and finish the job. |
Re: Skins vs. Cards Positives + Negatives
New HC/OC - so its hard to want them gone after 6 games. With the lack of talent on D I think the DC becomes more important. Hell anybody could coach the 85 Bears. We need someone to make lemonade outta these lemons. Get the most out of it possible. Haz aint the guy. It certainly wont cure our QB problem, or our horrible ST's, but its a start. And like I said the rest of the staff has only bern stinking it up a few weeks, not a few years. So thats why Haz should get shown the door first imo.
Lack of talent/injuries on the D + an offense that can't move the ball are a bad combination no matter who is at the helm at DC. I'm sure we'll have games where the D sh*ts the bed (see Eagles and Giants games), so I'm sure (and I hope) we'll make some changes within the defensive coaches. |
Re: Skins vs. Cards Positives + Negatives
This entire franchise from top to bottom needs clearing out. I'm done with the excuses. This team is the worst in the league, next to Jacksonville and Oakland. No longer will I spend money on these frauds. Bring back the real Redskins or blow the whole franchise up and start over again. This team is a disgrace to the once great legacy. And when you get some real talent to this franchise, get rid of those awful yellow pants.

It baffles me how a team that is known for having one of the best offensive lines in the history of the league (the Hogs), would do such a piss poor job in that area. I mean, when was the last time we had a solid offensive line? When we had Samuels and Jansen in their primes? |

Dallas D was supposed to be one of the all time worst according to everyone and they look pretty damn good. Id say that has to have something to do with the new DC. Im not ready to blow up the current staff. Way to early. But like SF said Haz has shown now for many moons that he is not a difference maker at the helm. I think someone needs to be sacrificed, and it is too early for anyone else - there all new. |

At this rate I wouldn't mind another rebuilding season as much as I hate rebuilding, I don't think the FO can keep ignoring the glaring issues this team has as a whole. Keep core guys and cut everyone else. |

I would say Kerrigan, T. Williams, Morris, Reed (if he stays healthy the rest of the season), DJax, Garcon, and Amerson. |
Re: Skins vs. Cards Positives + Negatives
Would Jay Gruden be out after one season if we tank and go 1-15 or 2-14?

Probably, but I'm wondering if he's given a pass due to the RG3 injury? Tough to tell. |

For me I'd say... Offense: RG3 Morris Young Garcon DJax Reed T. Williams On the bubble - Roberts, K. Lich Defense: Hatcher Cofield Kerrigan K. Robinson Amerson On the bubble - Baker, Jenkins, Riley Not including rookies on here, because all rookies are basically bubble players anyway. There are some who will def be back (Murphy) and some who may not (Jackson Jeffcoat... Btw, who?) |
