If it's 1 year $4MM, that's a great deal for the Redskins. Gives them more room to work on one or two more FA's. If Pot Roast plays well, perhaps the Skins will sign him to a more lucrative extension starting in 2016.

I know that it's real, just don't understand the logistics from either side. Why only take 2M guaranteed on his part, and why do we only want him for 1 year?

Just seems odd.

It's because no one wanted to sign him 'cuz he's downed too many off-season pot roasts.

He is apparently not an everydown guy with concerns about his weight gain.
I think the offers coming in were probably similar.
