Re: It's Dallas Week!!! Round 1
All I can think and hope, is that if this is one of those years where injuries sink the ship a little bit and take you from what could have been 10-6 to 8-8, then at least our backups are getting experience, we'll get a 3rd place schedule next year, and we'll get all of our guys back for next season, setting ourselves up well.
Still miles to go before we sleep on this season so way too early to start looking ahead. But damn if the injuries don't start to wear on you. You're right our luck has to turn at some point. [knocks on wood that the QB remains healthy]
I just hope that Nsekhe heals up quickly because I keep hearing that Trent is causing permanent damage to his kneecap by playing on it and I'd rather lose him for this year than for him to be less effective all his remaining years. |

I would dispute that as fact. I think the report has been that it's aggravating it but not causing permanent damage. There's a very big difference. But yeah, dude needs to rest. If we managed to get to the playoffs with a hobbled Trent we're surely not getting out of the first round anyway. He needs to rest at least a little. It won't be fully right until he has the surgery but he should at least be able to get out on screens. |
Re: It's Dallas Week!!! Round 1
Doctors wouldn’t let him keep going if he was risking the rest of his career.

Idk, I think they can make recommendations but not sure they have the power to keep him off the field if he wants to be there. Either way, I agree he should take a couple weeks off, just hope Nsekhe is back in a few weeks or so. |
Re: It's Dallas Week!!! Round 1
The team could say that’s it, IR you go if it was that serious.

Re: It's Dallas Week!!! Round 1
I think Spaight will be fine. It's his time now. As good a story as Foster has been, he's just a guy.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
Compton is missing tackles on special teams man... he's nice and smart but slow and weak. Foster is a really good ILB, we'll miss him, but Spaight did look way better than last year. I think it was against the Chiefs, I see him shedding a block and making TFL on an option play that he read perfectly. Shows his understanding of the game improved, he's quick, has missed some tackles but that's something he can improve on. He could become good. And the way guys have been stepping up because they're better coached on defense, we can hope he will. Envoyé de mon SM-J320FN en utilisant Tapatalk |

:laughing2 Yeah. Sure. Right. Please refer to Griffin, Robert III and the playoff game vs. Seattle. |
It's Dallas Week!!! Round 1
Griffin would still be playing if he knew how to read a defense and play from the pocket.
It wasn’t the injury that ruined him, it’s the fact he can’t play QB. |

Bottom line, I wouldn't trust team doctors to help me avoid the exacerbation of any of my injuries if I were a player. They work for the teams and not for the players. |
Re: It's Dallas Week!!! Round 1
At that point he needed surgery, regardless if they sent him back in or not. Same with Trent now, it’s not a question of it but when.
