Re: Brian Robinson Shot multiple times
You are totally missing the point. What happened to BR happens every single day to people that aren't football players. The criminals are coddled by these weak liberals that have empathy for these savages.
BR very well could have been the guy who died in front of Nats Stadium a couple years ago. Thank god he survived this. It could have very easily gone the other way if the bullet hit his femoral artery. We already know how that turns out.
No I'm not this was a thread about a young running back for the Commanders chico's example of something in NO a while ago is irrelevant. Fact of life , there is crime and yes there is crime in Big Cities. Baltimore, Dallas , Philly and NY, LA , San Fran...................everywhere. |
Re: Brian Robinson Shot multiple times
Sports radio says he was shot in hip and leg. Was visiting/eating at Crab Boss. Fought the 2, was struggling with one and their gun, other perp had gun and shot him twice.
Brian, get well my man and be thankful. --------------------- What's the non-football-injury (NFI) list and how does it work? The Non-Football Injury or Illness list (NFI) is similar to the PUP list, but it is used for players who suffered injuries or ailments outside of NFL activities. This can range from Minkah Fitzpatrick's wrist injury falling off a bike on vacation to Jameson Williams and John Metchie III's ACL injuries in college. Players who begin the season on NFI (as of cutdowns to 53-man rosters) can be activated after the team has played its first four regular season games. However, a player on this list is not entitled to receive his salary, and his contract will continue to run while in such status. That said, the team and player can negotiate a rate of payment for the player while on this list. If such a player is in the last year of his contract (including option years), his contract will toll, provided the player is not physically able to provide his services by the team's sixth regular-season game and the team pays his prorated base salary for the balance of the season after that date. If the player is taken off of NFI during the league-allotted window, his contract will not toll. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-training-camp-roster-faqs-defining-injured-reserve-pup-list-nfi-and-more Appears Brian will have to initially be on the 53 then the team can designate him as a NFI the next day. Cant practice or play for 4 games. Im sure the team will pay what he would have recd anyway. ---------------- Reserve/Commissioner Exempt List: This list is for players in special or unusual circumstances who are momentarily not counted against a team's roster limit. The Commissioner is the only person or entity who can place a player on this list. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-training-camp-roster-faqs-defining-injured-reserve-pup-list-nfi-and-more |

At some point this season could mean anything. |

Personal belonging are not worth getting shot over. Let the punks have your stuff and live another day.

At some point this season could mean anything.
True but they haven't immediately put him on the NFI list which would exclude him until after week 4, so who knows. Personally speaking, if he comes back by midseason I would be pleasantly surprised, he would provide a good injection of smash mouth football as the weather worsens and (hopefully) the push for the playoffs starts |

Re: Brian Robinson Shot multiple times
Not to get ahead of any official reporting, but JP was saying that the perps were allegedly 13 years old.
If true, that is unbelievable really. These kids should be doing their homework, or chasing girls, riding bikes, grabbing a milk shake, not roaming the streets looking for easy targets, robbing and shooting people... They (BMitch/Finlay) also had a police officer on who said that he's had kids in handcuffs for similar crimes, and they flat out tell him they don't care, because they'll be right back out on the street doing the same thing tomorrow... It's just sad we have kids out there doing these things - with apparently no consequences at home or with the legal system. |

Little hole in the wall joint doing the best southern food ive had around here. Seems Ohh and Ahhs may have moved to a bigger place than the old place below. Fried chicken, greens, mac ... sooo good. You hope you get robbed by a 20 year old on up bc they do cost benefit analysis. |

It's fucking sad and pathetic, but not unbelievable. We're going backwards as a society. The influencers of these kids are just older losers or loser friends. |
