If we win this game and start 3-0 I will legit say they are a SB Contender
If you look at QB stats for 2023 Allen #9 followed by Sam at #10, very similar numbers. If people still doubt Howell watch this highlights, the kid is a stud.

Not if, we will win. I got that 1981-82 season feeling, the beginning of something BIG. Jump on the bandwagon. Sam is the missing link we've needed. |

Well the Hogs which made all those quarterbacks great is definitely a missing piece too. And a HOF HC. And the greatest GM ever. Oh and a great Kicker, and LB’s. BUT at least Snyder isn’t the one responsible for getting us all that. So there is a chance. |

There has been about seven passes Howell has thrown the first two weeks that have been FLAT OUT dimes. |

Fine doesnt win superbowls. Lol. This offseason we go from fine to really good. Than it’s on to great. Fine can definitely make the playoffs though. |
After years of Snyder's lies it is hard for me to accept anything coming out of the Commanders organization as factual. I know different ownership but doesn't make it any easier to believe. Really hoping to turn on tv on Sunday and see no empty seats.
I bought tickets to the AZ game after it was announced as sold out - aftermarket tickets through Vivid Seats or whatever. There were empty seats, but not everyone is in their seats all the time - and the atmosphere definitely felt like a sold out atmosphere. For the Bills game, I would bet that there are going to be more Bills fans than there were Cardinals fans at the opener. Lots of Bills fans likely purchased tickets months ago, while Skins fans started to get with it more recently. I'm hoping for 80/20ish, but we'll see. |
Re: Bills Pre-Game Thread
While I do think some of the optimism is a tad bit over the roof...
I also think we can win this game. Just watched the Bills @ Raiders, and, weird to say after a 38 to 10 win in which they shut out their opponent for the whole 2nd half... but I wasn't overly impressed. Mainly, and this could be key, I thought there were ways to get to Josh Allen (who obviously can always go Josh Allen on you), so if our Dline can bring their A game, and... EB can design things to help our Oline against their toughest opposition so far, we got a more than legit shot at this. I don't know what the Raiders' Oline is worth, but I didn't see the domination I thought I would see from the Bills' Dline. I don't think the Bills are in juggernaut mode yet, so let's get this W ! |

They kept the Raiders run game in check and their doubling on Adams (and knocking him out the game) effectively shutdown their passing. We probably lean on the screen game again, though stretching the field against their secondary will be a good idea too. For D we need to shut their run game down and force Allen to pass (and not run himself). He could have another game like he ha s against the Jets if that happens. And 🤞 special teams are on their game; no more bad snaps as this could easily come down to a FG. |

You are correct, their LB’s is their D strength, on O QB, WR, TE. Cook is their best RB, he likes the edges, if our D contains the edge they’ll be dependent on their pass game. I’m not worried about their CB’s and Safeties. Howell has done an awesome job of spreading the ball in 2 weeks using 10 different receivers, so he can have his option of receivers. Allen has also used 10 different receivers, putting constant pressure on Allen and forcing mistakes are key. I’m bummed my boy Tim Settle will face us, love that guy. |
