I hope Commanders can pleasantly surprise all of us this weekend. I fully expect us to lose a close horrendous game or somehow get blown out.

I just can't expect a win against the Giants.

[quote=punch it in;1349230]Giants just lost another Olineman with torn biceps. Signed a practice squad player. This is now without a doubt the worst oline in football. Chase Young and Co better not get clowned.

I don’t want to hear any damn excuses about not being able to pressure the QB this week

Agreed. And offensively, we need to start clicking with more sustained drives. Their D is solid but they’ve had some clunker games too. Gave up 40 to Dallas whose offense isn’t great.

I may have missed it, but what are our defensive rankings?

Every time, and I mean every time I see the Redskins should feast on a team because of injuries it doesnt work out that way

Yup and they always have an excuse

To me, with what we have spent on defense, I’m disappointed in Ron and JDR to an extent. But this falls on Ron

Could you imagine Bill Belichick with this defense? First thing he would get the LB core straight.

Until proven otherwise, this team has no ability to win games like this one. Whether incompetent coaching, refs, lack of effort by key players (CY), or lack of depth. Whatever the reason, this team finds a way to either lose big, or turn a sure win into a nail-biting win.

I hope they come out of the gate like the Bears did against us but I expect the Giants to have a get right game with Taylor leading the way.

NYG 31 - us 20

Weakness of the defense are the LBs.
They will target 52/57 all day with quick dump off plays and force them to tackle.
Giants won’t hold on to the ball long enough to get to the qb.

Barkley is going for 150 rec yards.

People need to just stop with the hot take that Taylor is a better option this week than Jones. Enough

They both blow.

I actually think the Giants win. They're going to run the ball on us. When have we ever stopped SaQuan? Also Martindale is going to go buck wild in blitzing us. I see a lot of sacks and the defense won't dominate. NY 20 Wash17

There's just not a huge gap between the two. Jones is a little better though. Doesn't really matter cause both are mobile and Jack doesn't have a good track record w/ mobile Qb's.

This probably helps their O-Line. The no where to go but up effect.

Also, we, typically, do not play well at the Giants.
