Matty, are you going to set up a random draft order like last time using Excel so that we can plan ahead of time who to take with our first pick and so on?

Also, are we doing a free league again as well this year?

Actually fantasy football doesn't take as much time as any other fantasy sports simply because you only need to make changes once a week. I'd suggest doing a free league before a pay league as it takes some experience to maximize your shot at the money. Luck has a way of inserting itself and sometimes newbies light it up but I wouldn't take the chance.

I signed up for the free league so I can learn it this year. Deep Shock baby. That was my intramural team in college. We have t-shirts of "Two in the pink..." Well you know the rest.

We got off to a slow start but we filled up pretty quickly once things got rolling. If you haven't already sent the $25 for the pot, please remember to do so before the season starts. I haven't checked to see who hasn't paid yet, I trust you guys will get the payment in.

Now it's time to start prepping for the draft, I can't wait!

I'll get some free leagues going soon as well.

Yeah. That is a must.

Although, if I hadn't panicked based on the lack of a big name running back (and from a complete lack of experience). My two money players would have been Tiki Barber and Peyton Manning.

BUT... This year I will be there. Starting my rankings early.

Just a quick question. How do we determine draft order and what system do we use? Do we simply reverse the previous round for order (e.g. 2nd, 12th, 2nd, 12th).......or do we use one of those other more complicated systems that are all over the place?

It is a snake draft, meaning that who ever picks #14th in round one will then have the #1 pick in round 2. Usually Matty will give out our draft order based on some excel program. Then if you want to trade spots you can but you have to trade for the whole draft, like if I have #4 and you have #7 we would want to trade then you would have the #4 spot for the entire draft not just certain rounds...
