Yes, but I believe Chris Rodriguez Jr plays into this decision too. |
Re: Training Camp thread
I heard Standig and Nicky Javahla say McCaffrey has had a bad camp
Man, letting ZACCHEAUS go could have been a mistake |
Re: Training Camp thread
I saw a report stating that the team did try to resign Zaccheaus but he decided to sign with a different team due to limited opportunities on this team. I bet Zaccheaus didn't expect Bears to draft Burden tho.

Re: Training Camp thread
We don't have the depth at RB to get rid of BRob. Your team isn't better w/ out him. I know everyone is ready to put Bill in the HOF but be realistic. He's a 7th rounder that is already hurt and we haven't played a real game. He didn't play last year. He's going to last 17 games? And Ekeler is 30 and one concussion away from retirement. Don't be stupid.
I have always liked CRod. He's always getting positive yards, seems like a better pure runner than BRob. But again, there is no reason to get rid of a productive guy when you don't have much behind him. It's a long ass season and we all know backs get hurt all the time. Keep him. |

I think it's clear that Ekeler, CRod and Jeremy hold the room and you bring along Bill. Our runninng threat is primarily Jayden if BRob is our first string runner. Not elite but not bad either at all especially with a running qb. He's also 26 years old. Highly prefer to keep him. Very surprised this is even being discussed. |
Re: Training Camp thread
BRob isn’t playing tonight. If he isn’t traded, they probably are cutting him.

Posted about this several days ago with another article. Honestly he was underwhelming last year at best. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46009690/commanders-rb-brian-robinson-jr-sit-amid-uncertain-future |

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46009690/commanders-rb-brian-robinson-jr-sit-amid-uncertain-future
He’s a good backup but he just hasn’t done enough you want from your starting RB. The fact they are doing this now, means they’ve seen enough in camp to know, they want to move on from him. They hope they can get a 6th or 7th rounder but he’s probably cut, if they can’t trade him. |
Re: Training Camp thread
Wow, things are definitely different with Harris and Peters around. It is refreshing to see the team being proactive with the roster.

Re: Training Camp thread
Well one thing is for sure, this regime did not like most of Ron's guys. But I also really never felt like BRob was any better than CRod. So if they're kind of the same guy then no need to keep both of them.

Re: Training Camp thread
BRob plus Von Miller for Hendrickson. (As if.)

Re: Training Camp thread
I see Jamin Davis released…complete bust. Also KJ Henry released, a guy we traded up to pick can’t make a Browns roster.
