I've never heard Gibbs say anything about leaving after this year...

In fact all he's said is that he's committed to the terms of his contract which is 5 years.

I think he's referring to when Gibbs [U]joked[/U] about not staying long if he didn't win some more games and how he said that his time would be short in the NFL compared to his NASCAR life
