Gold and Wilson could pose problems for our o-line, they are very good blitzers. And that make shift D line is playing well right now. With Champ out of the line-up, we can exploit their secondary though.

Exactly! I alway's maintained that Levy was at fault with that, he had the opportunity to push the ball upfield more but chose to run a couple of dives to position the football rather than get his kicker an easier kick.

If seattle is 5 yards closer for that field goal they probably beat us, that ball wouldn't have had a chance to continue to hook and probably squeezes in.

Guys, the reason the Skins don't get any respect, is because Gibbs seems to be running a formula in the game that is not wide-open and exciting like the Bengals or the Colts. With Seattle it worked out great and would not have been a heart attack game had that INT not shown up late. Here is the gameplan: Seattle's O is good, so you run and pass and chew up the clock with long drives that lead to points, FG or TD. You play smart, don't turn it over and you play field position. On D you don't give up the big play, stop the run and get off the field on on 3rd down.. That methodical approach leads to close games which drive us fans crazy, but it works if you limit penalties and play smart. I mean I love the Raiders wide open go long to Randy Moss mentality, but they had like 15 penalties for 187 yards or something last week. You can't win playing like that. The bottom line is that the Skins are not exciting, so the media doesn't get excited about us either.

Personally I don't mind a grind it out type of offense. It ain't sexy but it's a proven formula for success.

You have to play to your strengths, and right now that's our D, running game and efficient but not spectacular passing.

Of course the Redskins are the underdogs in Denver. The thin air theory always affects the betting line, and that's what the line is for - BETTING!! All the line means is that those who make the line figure that wherever they put it, they will split the gambling into two equal halves so they pay out what they win and Pocket 10% Juice.

The line means nothing to the actual game.

What's odd is even with Champ in there, their weakness has been the secondary this year. Last year their secondary was their strength. This team will be vulnerable to the sliding offensive line tactic we have been using.

On the other side; I am concerned about their run game. They have the technic and talent to open very serious gaps in the middle. I would hope that Bowen is playing more in the box this week than he has been.

I'm approaching this game with great ethusiasm because we have not beaten an AFC team in a long time and this presents an opportunity for Portis to give Denver something to think about. I just hope we stay healthy throughout our stay on the west coast because we are going to need Walt Harris, Matt Bowen, Ryan Clark and Sean Taylor in the worst way. We pull this one out with that Red Hot Defense finally scoring a TD.
