I never gave a damn about somebody giving out a movie ending. If it's a good enough movie I will watch it more than once in my life anyway. It's just like sex, the whole first time thing was overrated to me.

Question:

I want to trade my car and I'm thinking of buying a Hyundai Sonata. Am I crazy? Their cars have gotten much better over the years and some people I know think they're good vehicles, but I still can't think of myself saying, "I drive a Hyundai."

You're not crazy. IMO, they have the best warranty there is -- 100K miles. I don't drive one, but I would definitely consider them, if I was in the market.

Also, I think the new Sonata is a pretty sexy car.

Um..don't you have another cool trivia question for us?

I hear Hyundais have gotten a lot better actually. A lot of people seem to like the Azera

There is a big difference between a Hyundai and a Honda.

I agree. My brother sold parts for NAPA for years and he said their engines are really good. You can get a fully loaded one for around 22k. I think they're worth checking out. I thought about a Camry, but I've heard awful things about the transmissions in the 2007 model and the fact that toyota salespeople are real pricks to deal with.

Yes... about 10k more than I want to spend.

According to CNN's consumer reports last week, Honda is the most reliable in the U.S. I believe that Hyundai was in the top 5 as well. As far as engines go, it's damn near impossible to kill a 2 litre 4 banger by Mitsubishi. But hey, I'm partial.

I haven't ruled out a Honda, but I would have to buy a used one. I actually prefer buying used anyway. I want a V6 with leather, but can't find one around here I like. :(

Yeah, I've looked at that site, auto trader, etc. The thing is you have a hard time finding one with low mileage because people don't typically trade them in early. I'm picky about the look of the car as well (color, body style).

Oh well, my search continues...

What car are you looking for. Not because of cost, but what do you really want?

Just do what I did, and pay 600$ to an old lady that only drove her car to church on Sundays. She got old and senile and lost her license.

Now I've got a '90 escort with 70,000 miles on it. It may very well be the worst car ever created, but it has low mileage and only cost me 600$.

The only problem is if I run into a stop sign I may lose my life. A tiny gust of wind blows the little P.O.S. practically off the road. No good.

I actually drove my mom's 81 Escort for awhile and the motor blew up. It was a tin can on wheels.

I like the look of the Hyundai and Camry. V6 Sedan, Red/Wine color with tan leather interior.

So out of all the cars in the world that are within reality's grasp, that is what you want?

Well my reality is that I have champagne tastes, but a beer budget. I guess I'll know it when I see it. I don't HAVE to trade my car, but it's a stick and I'm getting tired of it.

Oh Lord... you're asking a woman to make up her mind. You're a brave soul. :)

Ok. 06 Camry with less than 30k mileage. Red, V6 with tan leather, under $24k.

Of course I can buy a new Sonata for less than that. Decisions, decisions.
