Another drop. Abandoning the run I see.
Well, this is what half this board wants to see apparently. Heaven forbid we should try to run the ball and control the clock.

That injury to rogers looks very serious...I am very worried about our secondary, Rogers was having a good season.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread

i cant watch the game is campbell over throwing the deep balls? and who is playing corner since rogers is out?

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread

All my hopes have been dashed. Very disappointing thus far.

Our best play was the missed WR screen to Thrash.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread

They are openning it up some. Timing a little off but looking prety good. Defense is too important on this next Pat drive. Skins are playing well. We are still in this.

Is anyone keeping a running dropped-ball count?

You need fearless recievers to go over the middle.

JC looks jittery. Something we don't see from him. Overthrows look like he is just scared or something. Quick passes with no pressure? He needs to calm down

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread

so far so good...the ball is being thrown...more importantly the line is holding up...this will allow us to run soon

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread

I haven't once this year played the "play-calling card," but I would like to see us running on first and second if CP is getting 3-7 yard carries in this game, not crazy trick plays.

And the other half likes to point it out instead of making constructive arguements.

I think our whole game plan is out the window VS the pats. I'm all for trying anything that works. Right now, Campbell is not on, and the O line is not blocking exceptionally well either. Hard to make a good run at anything when that is happening.

our run defense is like swiss cheese today

We need a turnover.

I don't even know what your point is with that first statement.

One thing that is impressive about Brady is that he just doesn't force it anywhere, he always checks down to find the open man. There is always someone open too.

I mean look the Pats are doin it and they are dominating us in this game...

Its almost like they are sticking it to us on purpose, playing what is supposed to be our style and embarrassing us.

GMScud 10-28-2007 05:03 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread

We have no chance. We don't have the discipline to try to get any running game going, receivers drop balls, ugh. This is done.

redskins5044 10-28-2007 05:03 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread

they are too good. they knew we were going to prevent the big plays. so what do they do run it and pass it short.

we are gunna need to blitz at least 25% soon

This is bad. Worse than I thought. I NEVER for a second thought we would win, but I didn't think we'd get embarassed.

I don't know, I've seen an awful lot of dropped balls, overthrown balls, and poor blocking.

I'm about too. This is way to frustrating.

All because GW isnt blitzing.

SmootSmack 10-28-2007 05:06 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread

We need a TD before the half. Campbell needs to settle down and we need to run, run, run.

Pats are good, very good

How can a defense let this happen? Seriously. Gregg Williams has to be the biggest idiot in the world to not coach these guys to stop this gameplan. I mean, really. Who didn't see this coming?

Can not agree more.
It's bad enough we're being man handled on the field, I don't want to see all the negativity on this board. If you want to be this negative, go drink a beer, take a nap, whatever...but shut up.

Well look on the brightside. Now we can go and make those great half time adjustments Tony was talking about....LOL!

get off of saunders' back...GW has done nothing different this game....nothing.
Who did he think we were playing...the cardinals?

In case you guys have missed it, they have beat their opponants by a margin that is MORE than we SCORE PER GAME. We don't make them look good, they actually are this good. It's sickening, but it's reality.
