Lol, I'll take Stockholm sydrome for 200 Alex. :D |
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
I'd say that no matter how good or bad the cowboys play this game, and the same for us, I'd say throw out all the stats and W & L's cause it'll be a classic rivalry like it is every year. And I like our chances of winning against the Cowgirls too, baring injuries though

Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
Roy Williams has completely disappeared.
|
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
I think Santana Moss needs to take notes from Manningham and Smith.

The Giants must be playing their Santana Moss Defense against him;) |
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
Anyone else notice how Couglin isn't forcing the issue with Jacobs and the running game? The passing game is clicking and he's mixing it up.
|
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
Damn. Manningham looks for real.
|
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
These young Giant wideouts are gonna cause us problems for years...

You were reading my mind -- Giants lose Burress and Toomer but have these two guys in the waiting and they don't miss a beat. |

Is Manningham a rookie? |

 And apparently the Giants are using our using our RZ offense. |

Manningham is a 2nd year player. |

Vinny Cerrato needs to look at Jerry Reese's drafts and see that you draft by need and not best available, regardless of position. |

2nd year. |

No he sat last year and learned the O...well apparently |
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
Didn't he play with Chad Henne at Michigan?
|

Yeah |
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
Man, if I were the Cowboys, I'd just run it for the rest of the games.
Btw, one thing about the G-men wideouts...they go up and get the balls thrown to them. Some ppl earlier were bitching about how ARE had to go up and grab a ball that JC had overthrown a bit...good WRs need to also jump up and grab those balls. |
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
or throw it to Witten :(

I am know as the "Romo hater" I could careless. I call it like I see it. I have said a lot of things that have came true for Dallas so I get to put it right back in their face most of the time. Romo's arm strength is beyond questionable, bad decision making, not a lot of tight spirals and the balls wobble a lot, Jason Garrett offense is like ABC 123, the Wade era is coming to an end soon, T Newman contract is nice for him but he won't last etc, Felix jones needs to return kicks, Wade can't draft for sh*t, Talent scouts suck, we are gonna let the 3-4 kill us by playing in it, etc those are some things I say and welcome the heat. Please draft Colt McCoy Jerry. Go Cowboys! |

Yeah he had 1st round potential but character flags dropped him a ways. He's already doing more than our 3 2nd rounders combined. |
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
We are toast. No way we can put up 30 points. I still think we are the better team. A team that can keep other teams from scoring high on our defense, yet we have enough troubles of our own trying to score that we keep it close.

I'd say ARE made a better catch. It was a good pass, but an AMAZING pass wouldn't have required ARE to stretch out and fall to the ground. Who really cares anyway. It was a positive play. |

Well it don't help when the playcalling is terrible, and we never take shots down field! |

What a bizzare game this is.

Agreed. Still, our WRs need to make plays (hear that Santana Moss?) |

Atleast its entertaining, our games are.. well plain out boring to watch |
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
GM, I would chalk up our problems to coaching. Not sure about the TE coach but I can tell you I'm still not impressed with our WR coach.
|
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
The Offense as a whole is bad!
|
Maybe it goes back to our WR Coach Stan "The Man" Hixon but why do other teams WR's look so smooth running routes and catching balls and seem to know when to come back to the ball and yet the Skins WR's always look like they are struggling to do anything.
Sitting there today watching the game we were saying the exact same thing. The team looks like everything they do is a struggle, we've been saying it for a long time now. |

I think its not a Cowboy thing but fans in general have this tendency to place their team on a pedal stool like they have no faults. It is very much present on this board too. People just can't handle the truth cause reality is just too harsh for some. |

Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
Eli has really become a top QB. Ever since the 2007 superbowl he has been awsome.
