His work ethic is consistently challenged and he drops a lot of passes. You think he sucks as a Cowboy simply because Romo doesn't throw to him enough? Please. If Miles Austin can work his way into all these reps, than your superstar 1st round Texas Talent should be able to do the same. Reps are earned. Roy Williams = BUM/BUST. Flat out.

Dude this isn't college, he failed in Detroit, and hasn't stepped up in Dallas. Has nothing to do with hating Dallas, I will give props if a guy deserves it, but RW11 hasn't shown anything in the last couple years to be getting those props.

I'd love to tour their winery. If you like Cab Franc, you should try Topiary from Boxwood Winery in VA (owned by John Kent Cooke, Jack's son). That's fine. I maintain, however, Williams is a bum. Without looking, I think Williams and Devin Thomas are having comparable seasons. I haven't checked in a while, but I will when I'm done typing this.

As far as him having talent and playing for Texas, a big SO WHAT. What does that have to do with anything? The list is very long of those who were great in college and busts in the NFL. Did it ever occur to you that Roy Williams doesn't get looks because he's not open? Roy Williams runs one or two good routes (slants and posts), take those away and he's a very, very ordinary NFL reciever.

If you are gonna throw out stats might as well show them all. He's not a superstar, and Austin is the hot receiver right now, so enjoy the man crush, just don't expect any knowledgeable fans here to buy into it.

Teams blow millions of dollars in the 1st round every year on guys who flash potential in college.

Aside from one really solid year in Detroit, Roy Williams hasn't done shit in the NFL. I'd love to know why you're singling him out and defending him. He sucks man. Show me stats to prove otherwise (not from a few years back on another team). If he was so great, he'd be taking reps away from undrafted Miles Austin. He's a gigantic underachiever just like every other Matt Millen WR not named Calvin Johnson.

Everyone who has ever been drafted has some talent. That doesn't mean they become good NFL players. That's why there have been many first round "busts". Williams had a good year in Detroit but is not the player he was thought to be. Whether it's a lack of effort or what, I don't know. I would have no problem blaming Romo for anything, but in this case, I can't. Williams is underachieving.

Nope, but I refuse to be attacked for sharing an opinon. Nor will I ever back down when the facts are on my side. Once Myles Austin catches 80 balls and makes a prow bowl then his ardent supporters will have a leg to stand on. Until he does, Roy has had a more accomplished career.
