Yeah I heard it also and I think it's probably pretty accurate, he looks like he didn't want to be in DC this season.
Makes sense to me. |
Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
that logan paulson td catch was very nice.

Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
I still say we need someone like Lovie Smith, NO BS, due your job kind of guy. The OC's can be found to suit the talent. This light weight OL is going to get RG3-KC-who ever killed!
Remember when we all bitched because it seemed like DC was a place to collect a paycheck and take it easy....... It was not that long ago. We should have plenty of room with the cap to make enough moves in FA. Edit: I hate when someone walks in your office and makes you hurry up and click post before you can proof read..... haha |

Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
That was the most horrendous showing I think I have ever seen on all side of the ball and that was after just the 1st quarter. I could not bare to watch the rest of the game. I have never not finished watching a game before. Sad, sad day for Skins fans. The stadium pictures, I have seen, says enough

:laughing2 C'mon matty. Seven million on the line here. No way anybody is really walking away from that. Even Zorn stayed for the money after being humiliated to no end. |

would u if u could make 7 M? |
Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
Walking away from $7M isn't horrible if you've already banked $28M.
That would be the stand up thing to do. Of course it's become obvious that being a stand up guy is a foreign concept to him. |
Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
Yeah he's not a team guy thats for sure
|
They are going to fire him with cause they are saying on sirius. We wouldnt have to pay him crap than rite?

He would certainly appeal it to the league. |
Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
While I wouldn't want the team to waste $7 mil, part of me just wants us to cut our loses, fire him, and move on. No need to turn this into another Haynesworth situation, which ironically MS created.

Well two things are true.
1) it cannot get worse than this 2) it can only get better than this |

Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
How can MS be fired for cause? Because someone from his camp leaked a story that the owner is sniffing RG3's jock? lol....Somehow I think either way, MS is getting his 7 million.

Well for one they think it was him that leaked it. Also he is still chasing money from his days in Oakland when he got fired with cause. |
Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
I don't blame Mike for leaking this. I don't care who the next HC is, as long as Snyder owns this team, we are doomed to failure. Crying going on 14 years now...
|
They sucked for the better part of a decade before he bought the team. I still blame the deal Gibbs made with the devil during our super bowl years. How else do you explain Doug Williams and Mark Rypien winning superbowls. How else do you explain Timmy Smith going for 206? ;)

He probably did but there is no way Snyder will be able prove it. Al Davis fired all his coaches with cause. lol. |
Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
Grant Paulsen wasn't letting up on Mike.....lol Reporters are going after him relentlessly. They need to be.
|
Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out. Maybe MS is making the DS and RGIII relationship out to be more then it really is so people will not focus on the teams poor performance under him as HC. Up until this story came out I thought DS had pretty much let the coaches coach and the front off run the team. I cannot remember the last time I have seen DS other then a shot of him in the owners box.

Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
hearing Shanny is not answering alot of questions today at the presser. he's refusing to talk
|
Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
Danny Rouhier asked Dave Owens this morning to ask Shanny if he wanted to be here at today's press conference. Dave just asked it....ahahahahaha The deafening silence was amazing. :laughing2

#Redskins HC MIke Shanahan : says if he sits down Robert Griffin III for Atlanta, it is for the rest of the season. Think it's ugly now, watch what happens if he decides to bench RGIII this weekend. At this point, all you can do is sit back and laugh. |

Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
The good news about sitting RGIII I won't have to see him smiling after just having his ass kicked and throwing for only 100 yards.
|
Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
Sounds like we're going to see Cousins the rest of the year.

Has this ever happened before? Benching a starter out of concern that your O-line is so crappy that he might get hurt? Imagine if you play on that O-line and your coach says that. Man, this circus cannot end soon enough. |

At this point, all you can do is sit back and laugh.
Great political move by Shanny: "Cut me now DS and it will look like you wanted to play favorites." Any shred of respect I had for the guy is gone. Dan should very publicly announce that, (1) he has tried to give MS everything for which he has asked; (2) wished he could let him stay the final year of his contract; and (3) thanks him for all the great work he has done. Unfortunately, it is clear the team as Mike has assembled has failed in the win/loss column and he would be a negligent owner if he allowed the failed administration to continue any further. "Thus, with great regret and hope for the future, the Redskins need to cut teh cord with Mike and move on with Raheem as the interrim. Further, to avoid any awkardness, we will be replacing Kyle as Offensive Coordinator with [INSERT NAME OF ASST. HERE]. As the quality coaches that they are, both will be paid their full salaries with hopes that they can find other employment in the NFL." Don't think Dan has it in him to kill with kindness but, if he does, now is the time. |
