I see the refs are back in midseason form by screwing the Saints over with crappy calls.

I don't like listening to him, either. All he does is screams and overexaggerate every, other play. |

he was borderline carried to that championship, by a great D and supporting cast.... reminds me of someone else that happened to.. oh wait, i thought there was a reason this statement was coming from you... who-da-thunk-it ? ? |

who-da-thunk-it ? ?[/quote] Not sure I would agree with the statement on Flacco. That 2012 playoff performance from him was historic. Flaccos postseason during the 2012 postseason and that Super Bowl, he was 73 of 126 passes for 1,140 yards, 11 touchdowns, no interceptions, and a 117.2 passer rating — the highest ever for a postseason since 1970, the year the AFL and NFL merged. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Really enjoyed the Raiders ignoring the TMZ coverage and coming out and dominating from start to finish in Primetime. Im pulling for the Raiders this year

But in reality I know Flacco played well, as a game manager and made some big throws but i still say his supporting cast especially Boldin really helped the situation a lot. |

It was so nice to see a real coach at work-Sean Payton,if only we had one!!

So far after week one, Murray looks like a baller. He took the game over against the Lions.

Excellent point. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Miami has all but come out and admitted they're tanking. They're stock piling draft picks and trading away anything that has value. Not saying we should go to that extreme but I would try and trade Norman, Trent and even Kerrigan.

I smell a money grab. Why would someone continue to be around someone who repeatedly assaults them? They did not live together, she has her own place and her own business. It isn't like she is a housewife dependent on him for survival with no support system. |

Just to clarify, AB is not a 'charged' with rape. This latest is a civil case, not criminal. But I hear your point. Patriots have an established record of handling sexual assault charges. They drafted a player from Nebraska who was later accused of sexual misconduct and immediately released him. Albert Haynesworth pleaded no-contest to a charge of a similar nature, and the Patriots released him too. Since this is a civil, and not a criminal case, the most the NFL might do is place him on the Commissioners exempt list. But even that is a long shot at this point. I think the Pats hold him out of practice and he will not play this week. Listening to the radio this morning and it was reported that the Patriots front office has seen the emails AB allegedly sent this lady and were shocked to say the least. Reportedly very graphic correspondence. |

Most players in any type of situation tend to lay low, I highly doubt AB will do any of that. |
