Re: Cousins to start 2015 Season
There was an article posted here a while back where Snyder was quoted as saying he really thought McCloughan had put a "fantastic" team together. What's his reaction gonna be like when he finds out it's not so fantastic? He's not exactly known for patience.
Snyder has continually showed patience. That is one stereotype of him I have never understood. I know his first 4 years he made rash moves but other than Marty (granted that was a big one) he has been more patient then most fans usually wanted him to be. Even now with RG3 the person mainly in the way of moving on is Snyder. There is zero chance that SM is fired after one year barring some non-football expose that blows up. Sent from my S6 Edge |
Re: Cousins to start 2015 Season
gruden needs to follow rg3 out the door.

They haven't even played a game and you are already saying they suck? Let's wait and see before we make a judgement. |
Re: Cousins to start 2015 Season
My hope is that Kirk is the answer at QB, but if not I really like Connor Cook. Super fast release, and he is 6'4. No more small guys.

There are some really good young QB's playing in college this year in addition to Cook. Goff at Cal, Kessler at USC, Rosen at UCLA and the guy that impressed me today, CJ Beathard out of Iowa (Bobby Beathard's grandson). |

Hey, that inch makes a huuuuuuuuge difference. Huuuuuuge. |
Re: Cousins to start 2015 Season
Speaking of huge differences, I saw this on the Redskins FB feed. Not a huge oversight but still made me crack a smile.

Re: Cousins to start 2015 Season
You guys giving up on Gruden but bash Snyder for his lack of patience in the same paragraph make me wanna bash my face against my desk.
Gruden is year 2 of his contract. Him and Scot seem to be on the same page with everything and now he's going to be playing a QB that can maybe function in his offense. Not a project who limits the offense and under values are threats at WR/TE. I just don't get it. We can't even make it to 17 games for a Head Coach before wanting him pushed out of town. I need to remind people that we hired a WCO head coach and our starting QB had never run that offense in the NFL. Patience. For fuck sakes patience. He was a rookie HC last year as well. He's already made strides talking to the media. Let's see if he has made strides during game day before asking him to "leave with RG3" /facepalm |

The top coaches can work with anyone. So now, good ole honest jay got his way. He has the qb for his "system." So put up or shut up time for JG. |

I can't tell if you're serious. His record with Tom Brady is a little different than his record with "anyone": Bill Belichick or Tom Brady: Who Deserves More Credit for the Patriots' Success? | Bleacher Report Footnote: I'm just citing the win/loss record, not the Bleacher Report Analysis. |

Come on now, look at all the well known coaches. Parcells, shanarat, Reid, Gibbs and so on. They are able to use the personnel they have. Skins fans of all fans should know what a great coach does, look what Gibbs won with!! Fact of the matter is Gruden is stubborn about what he thinks works, ok so now prove it. Shanarat, one of the biggest egomaniacs, adjusted and made it work. Reid has made the playoffs with captain check down at QB and should have beat the colts too. Gruden is a terrible coach until he proves otherwise and to be as stubborn as he is about his "system" makes it even more amazing to witness. |
