Ok, check Patrick Mahomes stats, almost the same. Patrick has 2 more TD’s and 112 more passing yards.
LOL, we have Ron Rivera and Eric Bieniemy.

Just sayin', so far Sam has looked better and played better through his first 9 games. Can he sustain that? Maybe...

But with how he is playing, I'm of the opinion that we shouldn't - and we don't have the luxury to - roll the dice on a 1st round QB with all the other needs. What we need to do is add a couple more picks and use half the draft on the O-line, and the other half on the back 7 of the defense.
i am not going argue that RR and EB suck but Myers was a whole different level of suck.

Urban Myers was a whole new level of terrible, the likes that we haven't seen since Spurrier.
Brian Baldinger loves him but I agree you never hear about Howell and that's because he's in WSH. If he played anywhere else you'd hear about him. Nobody cares about WSH Football
I agree with what you are saying, but, at the end of the day, increased media love doesn't make SH, our coaching/schemes, or our results as a team any better.

You have to earn media love. If he is the guy he will

Don't let the fact that our RR has lasted longer than Urban did, fool you into thinking he is any better. I'm sure he's a much better person, but with regard to football smarts, I am not so sure.

That was their mistake. Dyslexic FO signed Mike Myers dad instead of Urban Meyer...

Watson has stunk. Wouldn't even look his way.

You guys comparing Howell and Mahomes?
SH threw 52 check down passes last game.

Sam is playing twinkle twinkle little star on piano while Pat is Mozart.
One is not like the other.

The pat you should be comparing him to is sack machine Patrick Ramsey.

Nobody is as good as Mahomes, he's probably the 2nd best QB I've ever seen and he's 28 YO. He's a magician out there and his arm talent is underrated at that.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread

I’m gonna be honest, the Sam Howell performances at Giants and Bears were more a problem with game plan and offensive coordinator. I lay the blame there. If the game plan, scheme and play calls were better, Sam would been ok.

The only game where I went, “damn Sam! What are you doing?” Was the Buffalo game where he just stunk to high heaven.

Most people who haves watch football for awhile can easily see Sam Howell is the best QB we have had here since Cousins.

Those who know, know

Let’s see how he finishes the season. While I understand why EB goes pass crazy against the Eagles best run defense in the league, he needs to use the run and an effective run gp at that, to help Sam against other defenses.
