So, today was the first day of mandatory mini-camp, right? Did Haynesworth show up?
It's not until next week, the 16th I believe |
Re: Haynesworth is Behaving Selfishly
Looks like AP did not show up for mandatory camp. I'm surprised this hasn't blown up all over ESPN.

Okay, 16th sounded right, but then I saw this on PFT, "Part of that contract requires him to be at this weekend's mandatory minicamp, or risk giving up 25% of this year's allocation for his signing bonus. There are also future guarantees in his deal that could void if Haynesworth doesn't show by Friday." |

Re: Haynesworth is Behaving Selfishly
daaaaaaamn.. call out is right
"I mean, just do the work. He looks more like a nose tackle, and a 3-4's gonna be great for him. You know why a 3-4 would be great? Because all he'll have to do is what he did last year, and that's just fall on the ground, pile it up a little bit and the linebackers roll past you and make the plays, He doesn't even have to make a play in the 3-4."
|

"If the team goes to the playoffs and does well and ultimately gets to the Super Bowl, then guess what, there'll be a lot of All Pros on that team, there'll be a lot of accolades for the individuals. Everything happens if you do well as a team. And so if I'm out there slaving and working my butt off, and Albert is sitting at home cooling it or complaining or whatever, me as a teammate of his is gonna go handle this situation. I don't need Coach Shanahan or anybody else or the league to do anything they need to do. We've got to get to the bottom of this. Is it about winning, or is it about you being comfortable or uncomfortable?" |

Re: Haynesworth is Behaving Selfishly
Looks like Shannahan is a believer in Trust but Verify:
Adam_Schefter DT Albert Haynesworth is scheduled to undergo a physical at Redskins headquarters at 6:30 am Wednesday, just before team's minicamp. 35 minutes ago via UberTwitter I hope Al was doing what he said he would! |

Re: Haynesworth is Behaving Selfishly
I wonder what Big Al will weigh in at? hes allegedly slimmed up a bit. We might need to start calling him slightly above agerage Al

Re: Haynesworth is Behaving Selfishly
So tomorrow bright and early at 6:30 am, AH has to show up to redskins park for a physical.
ouch. i could see AH showing up at 6:45 just to continue the game of tit for tat that they are playing. atleast we will have something tangible to talk about. |

Then I'd like to hear Shanahan's response when a reporter asks him about it. |
