Wentz’s 650 passing yards rank second amongst quarterbacks.
He’s tied for first with seven touchdown passes. He's sixth in passer rating (100.3). He's eighth in yards per attempt (7.5). He's fifth in passing first downs (35). He's the only player (quarterbacks and all) with 10 plays of 20+ yards through Week 2. He has the third-best passer rating on deep passes (20 or more air yards). With his six touchdown passes through two weeks of the season, it is the first time a Washington quarterback has had six or more touchdown passes through the first two weeks of a season since Mark Rypien did so in 1989. Wentz is the first player since QB starts were first tracked in 1950 to have 300+ pass yards and 3+ pass TD in each of his first 2 starts with a new team. I know it's only two games, but we couldn't have done much better with the current QB/OC duo. Just have to fix the defense...
Guys like you are the reason stripper put glitter on their tits. All garbage stats against garbage teams. I hope I’m wrong but I expect as many INTs as TDs against the eagles. With zero threat of a run game, Eagles are going to fingerblast Wentz on passing downs. |

It beats all the bitching and complaining you and some others do. It's not easy being a fan of this team, but I am, and have been for a long time. The day I solely focus on the negatives is the day I walk away...probably never. I guess you'd be happier if he was last in every category. Might help validate some of your whininess. "garbage stats against garbage teams" = garbage statement. Oh, and for the record...glittery tits are just fine with me. |

I think all of us here are smart enough to know that 2 games really doesn't mean much. There are a lot of positives w/ Wentz but also plenty of negatives.
I listened to Cooley this week and he gave Wentz a C-. Basically said there was a lot of stuff he missed but Turner didn't help him too much in the first half. I want to see Wentz go out there tomorrow and dominate the game, 2017 style. I think he is still capable of being that guy. |

We all need to do a D.C. trip for a game. But instead of giving Snyder money, we go to a strip club and throw money at titties, glittered or not, depending on preference. |

The o-line surely didn't do Wentz too many favors, but Wentz's lack of pocket awareness and propensity to hold on to the ball created about 3 or 4 sacks. |

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz

I didn't watch the game live, thank god, and probably wont look at the highlights. Every player has weaknesses in their game, we know Wentz (and pretty much every QB) is better when given time by the OL. Fact is coaches and FO need to set him up to succeed not throw him to the lions(eagles) and leave his weaknesses exposed. They invested a lot in him, but they went cheap on the oline in the offseason. Total FO & coaching failure. Offense could have been, may still be, good but we sunk our cap dollars into overrated CBs

This is about where I'm at. I was concerned about the O-line going into this game, more concerned than I was about the defense, which actually played well early on. There were a couple times where he held on to the ball too long, but that O-line was pretty terrible in pass protection last night, probably worse than what he had in Indy. If this is what the O-line is moving forward, ST needs to come up with a better plan, and should have made the necessary adjustments earlier in that game yesterday to give them a chance. |
