Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)
I agree skinsut, Manning/Tannehill is what I'd like over Trading half a draft for one QB that honestly played against bad defenses all season long.

If thats the case then you would only be in favor of drafting QB's from the SEC. Keep in mind these defenses are filled with 4 and 5 star recruits from Texas and Oklahoma a good amount of whom have a shot of playing in the NFL some day. They're not to be taken lightly. And also keep in mind that RGIII dominated these teams through both the air and the ground with an inferior supporting cast. |

Later. You have to make sure he's healthy by the time draft day rolls around. |
I'm going to predict the QB carousel.
Indianapolis - Luck (1st Overall) Washington - Griffin (2nd Overall), Clausen (FA) Cleveland - Flynn (FA) Miami - Tannehill (1st Round) - Matt Moore remains starter New York Jets - Manning (FA) - Release Sanchize Seattle - Osweiler (1st Round) - Sign Leinart or Sanchez Jacksonville - I'm going to go out on a limb and say they use a second round pick on Foles
Not bad. I don't get the feeling Clausen will be here Jets don't want to take the hit of releasing Sanchez. Thats why they are trying desoerately to gauge his value right now before Peyton's in play |

Granted it's a different situation with Sanchez's contract but it'll be interesting to see. Jets would probably be the best situation for the Manning family. The two brothers get to compete with each other without competing with each other all the while getting a chance to see each other on a regular basis. I'm pretty sure the parents would like that situation as well. |

Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)
If the Redskins are going to "Ditka" this draft then they should go all the way and try to trade with Indy (needs picks just like the Rams) for Luck, if you are going to blow a load do it right.

I don't think anyone is suggesting going Ditka to get RGIII. Going Eli seems to be more appropriate. Of course I think some of you are holding out for this prospect from the 2032 class.
