Not only at the QB position, but almost every position outside of Kerrigan, Breeland, Morris and Williams.
I add Way, Young and Kia too that list. |

Yes I would add those two as well and perhaps Robinson too. |

Not only at the QB position, but almost every position outside of Kerrigan, Breeland, Morris and Williams.
Absolutely. Griffin was appointed the starter from his first practice and never had to 'earn' anything. Even after getting benched last year he was re-appointed without a competition when Gruden was hired. I think he needed the wake up call and for him to have to fight for his job a little. Make it clear to him that he's on the same level as Cousins, McCoy or whomever else is brought in and nothing is given to him. I have been and still am a huge Griffin supporter. If this season is what was needed for him to take the next step to being a franchise QB then I'll willingly take the lumps. That said for Gruden's sake, it better have worked or else he's going to be looking for work! |
I would say Roberts has much improved the return game from the mix and match we had last year, but for what he is being paid I would expect Jacoby Jones numbers.
With Roberts as returner, he is solid- doesn't fumble, etc. But I never get the feeling that he's ever a real threat to break one. Skins are ranked somewhere 20-25 in both Punt & Kickoff returns. If we can get improvement there, that can help steal some wins next year. |

Re: RG3 and Gruden?
He did but it was his first all year no?

Roberts was a guy I was hoping we would sign in free agency, but he's been a disappointment on offense. Drops passes and fumbles way too much. That said, he's been an improvement on special teams. |
