Here's the deal I want to see with Cousins, command of the huddle, pocket awareness, ability to deliver to 3rd option. ability to call protections, 3rd down conversions on 3rd and less than 8, zero fumble tolerance. 1-2 picks a game. 1-2 TD's a game. Move the ball, win time of possession.
He must learn to not telegraph his throws...must look off defenders (weakness)
I do trust his ability to develop.
If he could develop head fakes left to throw right, he could potentially be like a brady type manager. I know that is an outrageous statement...but, solid knowledge, management and delivery makes a 10 play offensive drive with a TD possible.
Nothing spectacular....just 10X 5 yards at a time without a pick to score.
So you want Cousins to be a hall of famer this year. Got it. Me too.

Brady is the most spectaluarist game manager ever
Which guy was dogging it?

The guy trying to make the 53 (Smith)?

The guy who was brought in under a different GM and didn't thrill anyone last year and wants to stay past his current contract (Lavau)?

The guy who is undersized at his position and isn't the prototype the new GM is looking for (Lich)

The rookie who now somehow feels comfortable enough to teach the franchise QB a lesson after switching positions (Scherff)?

The guy who just broke into the starting lineup and was initially the second choice behind a Scherff/Long combo (Moses)?

I'm an idiot, but that's the dumbest idea I've ever heard if you're serious.

You've posted it twice now

Which one of the 5 intentionally let RG3 get hit?
Maybe RG3 called the wrong protection at the line on purpose, because the best QB in the league couldn't possibly have done it by mistake.

Look, bad QBs get sacked no matter who's blocking for them. See also Jason Campbell vs. Todd Collins. See also RG3 in 2014 vs. Colt and KC, 2 QBs who are NOT punching their tickets to a Canton anytime soon.
Does anyone think this has to do with what he said at his presser? Maybe the " I just work here" comment didn't go over too well with the folks in the front office.
I think the independent neurologist saw the press conference and declared RG3 mentally unfit to play just based on his idiotic responses.
Disorganization starts at the top. We've heard Smoot talk plenty of times about how fucked up the culture is at Redskins part, and it starts with lil Danny.

Yes, I'm with the majority of the people here that think it's very odd that he was cleared early this week, but not now. I'm with the conspiracy theories on this one. I think they want to see how Kirk does with the first string. This allows them to do so without taking a bunch of flak.
Happens all the time with concussions. Are you saying Gruden paid off the independent neorologist? Or that Gruden himself is really the independent neurologist? I don't see how a team could manipulate the NFL's concussion program. How exactly would it work?

Cleared early in the week but not now? I don't buy it and I suspect not many do.
We should have signed ryan fitzpatrick dude... No but really, Kirk has had a couple meltdown games dude im not sold for one damn second. A guy like andrew luck throws 3 picks and still leads a game winning 4th quarter drive. The way that dude looked on the bench was demoralized. At least griffins got heart. They just need to let rg loose until he gets hurt if thats his destiny. Screw trying to develop him into a pocket guy just let his scramble randle cunningham style until its over . Concussion smushin. These things happen. Colt has heart id rather him over cousins.
People seem to forget that Robert himself (and his dad for that matter) said. I want to be a pocket qb. He made it loud and clear. Well we tried and...... Well.

Has anyone considered it could have been RG3's camp that asked for another review of his medicals?

That sounds reasonable to me!

I have to agree with your comments. People in DC always love the backup QB until he plays and he shits the bed.

I was at the game chanting "Gus Gus Gus" when Heath Shuler was benched. A few bad seasons and a self imposed concussion later . . .

I don't think the Redskins conspired with the doctors here. I think this is all just a case of "could only happen to the Redskins" This could be for the best ultimately though

At this point I'm ready for the divorce to be final. We haven't seen anything out of RG3 since 2012 that indicates he is progressing towards being a good qb. I feel confident at this point Gruden and RG3 are ready to split, and management might be the only reason that hasn't happened yet. It would make this a whole lot easier if Cousins actually gave us reason to believe he's more than a backup.

I'm wondering what is causing all of these seemingly contradictory statements by Coach Gruden and "The Team" about RGIII's status. Is someone trying to make Gruden look like he doesn't know what's going on? If Gruden makes the initial statement on any matter, shouldn't he make any follow-up statements on that matter?

Yeah just trade him already. Send him to Houston or buffalo or wherever for a draft pick or maybe a player but time to move on. Leave it to KC or colt and let's just hope we can run the ball and play Great defense. We have the weapons on offense to have a solid pass game

44D......
I have been carefully scrutinizing your well thought, logical posts in this thread. I have not concluded what your ultimate design is. I would like to caution you, this.....sound reasoning will not work here!
Conspiracy is the flavor of the day with a hearty dose of absurdity just for fun. Truth has no bearing in the land of stupidity. Sooooo...please cease and desist.
