Re: RG3 and Gruden?
Roberts was a guy I was hoping we would sign in free agency, but he's been a disappointment on offense. Drops passes and fumbles way too much.
That said, he's been an improvement on special teams.
And to think Roberts would have been our #2 wr behind Garcon.....it was a good thing that we signed DJAX. |
He did but it was his first all year no?
It was, I just felt like stating the obvious. |

Yeah but I want to see things out of Ryan Grant and Hankerson before the year is over. It's too bad Aldrick Robinson is no longer on the team. |

Didn't Grant have good games early or am I confusing preseason with regular? |

U got me thinking so i looked it up. He was 5-57 yards against Jags, and 1-4 yards weeks later. Other than that nada. Guess preseason he shined. |

Hankerson. LOL. The new and improved Malcolm Kelly. |

Maybe he's been having bad practice habits?? His absence confuses me.He tore it up in preseason, looked good in the games he played, and I havent seen him get a snap in ages.To stick Moss in ahead of Grant makes no sense to me,to stick Hankerson in ahead of Grant makes no sense to me |

I have the same questions...the guys looks like a bona-fide Pro receiver with great hands. I can't understand why he hasn't seen the field. I do think he has a bright future though. |
Re: RG3 and Gruden?
Grant's time will come. He's a rookie and having a great preseason doesn't mean squat.
|
Re: RG3 and Gruden?
Grant has had trouble escaping the jams of real corners (not the 3rd stringers of preseason). Hopefully he is working on this and will be a big contributor next year. We didn't draft him to be an immediate starter.

Hankerson is a puzzling one. He must really suck in practice because other than his first game back from IR (which he screwed up a couple of assignments) he's been inactive every week. He's fully healthy apparently but must be deep in Gruden's doghouse. Another wasted third round pick, SMH! |
Re: RG3 and Gruden?
There's no way Hankerson is truly 100%.
|
Re: RG3 and Gruden?
Hank's a f'ing bust. I've been saying this for a long time. Cut that dead weight and move on.
Grant on the other hand I think will end up being a decent starter in the future. |

Good point. Even in preseason I noticed that he lacked the strength to get position on corners. I think that he needs to get bigger and stronger to compete in the NFL. Once he does that we should see more of him. |
