Ton of comments on this thread and admittedly, I have not read them all, so I apologize if this is redundant. The Redskins-Ravens game had everything! Games like this one are the reason why fans so love the NFL. This game will sell tickest to future games, and will improve TV ratings of future games, and sell SundayTicket packages. This Redskin win is why we watch. We want to see our team do something special against playoff caliber teams.

I texted some of my Redskin buddies after the game and told them that this might just be the best regular season NFL game that I have ever seen, or at least remember, since my viewing covers a lot of ground (back to 1955).

When writers recall the current segment of Redskins history in future years, this game will be prominently discussed. The drama was compelling. The Redskins started fast, faded, and then made a dramatic comeback! Mix in the injury to our superstar, his heroic effort to re-enter the game, and then the touch that Redskin fans have loved forever & a day, the backup QB enters to save the day. What a script - Hollywood could not have done better.

A great game, great win, and a great day! What next, Phoenix rises from the ashes? Absolutely!
Completely agree, amazing win. Best game i have seen since the game winning FG was blocked by Shawn Springs then returned by Sean Taylor to set up our own game winning FG.

It would be even more amazing if Kirk C starts this week and wins against Cleveland to keep all the hard work of everyone continuing to pay off.
Cleveland is going to be tough.
i agree . . . unfortunately that is the role of a NT in the 3 - 4 . . . to occupy multiple blockers and get push up the middle . . . that's his job . . .

and we have not been good run defense . . . our over run d ranking is due to teams not running against us because our offense scores and its very easy to pass on us . . . look at opposing yards per carry . . . 4.2 . . . that's 15th . . . that's middle of the pack and that's without backs being able to just grind it out and get into a rhythm due to lack of carries . . .
I think haslett runs a different version of the 34, that's more of a 1 GAP defense rather than the traditional 34.

still could use at least 1 space eater type dt. what we have now are 3 good DEs at the line.
imo

I think we still need a 3-4 end that can apply pressure. Of course that used to be Carriker's job but he got hurt but can we upgrade over the other d-linemen we have? We definitively can. Houston runs a one gap scheme that is why Watt is so good because he fits that scheme perfectly, just like Bruce Smith from the olden days. Building depth on the d-line should be a high priority this off season.

RG3 will be evaluated by Mike Shanahan. If he has no set backs then he'll more than likely play on Sunday at Cleveland.
