Not so fast. Beat writer Armando Salguero reports the Dolphins are still talking to agent Drew Rosenhaus about Rolle even while the safety in New York. Meanwhile, Giants beat writer Ralph Viacchiano hears that the choice is down to the Giants and Cardinals. It's clear as mud that the Giants are now the favorites.

Looks like the Lions are grabbing headlines with Free Agency on day 1.
The Burleson deal not withstanding, they are starting to look real good up front on defense.

Signed Vanden Bosch, they acquired Corey Williams in a trade with the Browns. Now, if St Louis takes Bradford #1 next month, that means the Lions could possibly have Vanden Bosch, Williams and Suh in thier front 4. Damn that is stacked up front!

How good is Rolle? From the way I've heard him described he seems like a second tier FS.

Nice signing. I'm impressed with the Bears. Certainly working hard to shed that cheap label which they should. Ridiculous for a franchise in a market like Chicago to be considered cheap.

The Bears have no choice but to spend money with no 1st or 2nd rounders. I think a lot of butts are on the line for this season there. Still wondering who is going to block for Taylor or protect Cutler.

Good point on the lack of draft picks. It's so weird how that franchise has fallen from grace recently. Very curious to see how Cutler does this year with Martz.

I'm glad we didn't. Yeah, he's solid but we can get a mid to late round pick plus maybe some other, cheaper options. I'm sad to see a lot of the guys go, including Betts & Rock, but at RB they really created some vacancies. don't know if they can draft 2 guys, we might have an unfa or journeyman playing #3 rb. Or Ganther might remain as #3.

im real curious to see what dunta is going to sign for. my interest in him has peaked as FA was getting closer thoo i cannot say i really watched or focused on his play since hes been in the league.
