Three of the last four games are good? His first real season at the helm and I see progression halted by one of the best defenses in the league. Also what this article fails to mention is he has done all of this with a piss poor defense and zero run game. For a "rookie" which we can argue about all we want, he is playing quite well all things considered. Certainly worthy of another year where we give him some more help imo.
is Brock Osweiler a rookie too? What about when Aaron Rodgers started after sitting...he was a rookie as well? SMFH..

Last time I checked you do not get a whole lot of experience sitting. So in that way all three were rookies. Yes. Also both of them jumped into a pretty good situation. Not like Kirk.
Edit: its a team fucking sport and you must realize comparing those packer teams and this denver team to what we have is the only reason u should be syfh.

Look at all the highly touted qbs that have been ruined by situations like what we have in Washington. The list goes on n on. I think KC has done quite well for himself - he certainly isnt ruined. And most young qb's wouls be.

gentlemen, there is no fighting in the war room.

cousins is neither a rookie nor a 4 year vet.

he is a guy who has started 18 games. There is no gray area there. Unless he has started 19.

Thats fine. However u wanna put it. Fact is for his "limited experience " on a trainwreck of a team he is passing the test.
Yeah, the excuse making is not a good look.

I really don't want to see another coaching change right now, but that's up to Gruden and Barry. They may want to play other teams straight up but they obviously don't have the horses to do it. If they don't come up with something right now to improve our run game and stop the opponent's run game, they may both be fired before Scot is able to acquire the horses.
Last week Barry had the corners playing 10 yards off the wr's on a 3rd and 3 when Carolina was backed up in their own side of the field. I wanted to bitch slap him. He is way too conservative and after 10 weeks I really don't think he's anything special. That hire is on Gruden.

Also I wonder if we have more than two run plays. We might lead the league in 2nd and 12, and I can almost predict when we're going to run and pass.

Starting over may not be the best thing right now. But these guys and KC need to start taking more chances on both sides of the ball. We'll need to if we want to beat the Giants. If KC throws a pick or two then so be it, that's part of playing QB.

Osweiler has started one game against a bad defense and they were able to run the ball. He will have his struggles. Let's see who he plays against the Pats.

1st start on the road against a team that's been playing better the second half of the season in a spot that not necessarily an easy place to play...You had to be impressed. 78 QBR as well.

Look, he is on a better team...not only does he have the pressure to finally get his turn and perform, but he is responsible for maintaining a playoff run and following a legend at his position. This isn't rebuilding where you can afford to make a lot of mistakes and shrug it off ala Cousins.

Pats gonna be a test for sure, Ill be watching.
People going to be really upset when Gruden is going to back next year and Cousins..

Per Mike Silver today.

Not me though. As it shows the Organization is finally taking a step in a consistent level and ignoring the agenda fans.
Consistently what, players lack of tackling, penalties, fines, and effort! If he doesn't win 8 games, why do you give him more thumbs up than Zorn. Why b/c he playing the qb you want? I think more fans want a coach that makes players more accountable and less media circus! This team more talented that any you can think of the last 6 years. And they playing in a below average division and he still losing games to below average teams. Even Tennessee, played Carolina though as we did. We only played two good teams, y'all act like we been playing Super Bowl contenders every week! I'll b disappointed if Gruden returns, cousin deserves another year at the right price!

In all fairness, the Jets and Falcons were both hot when we played them. Pats, Panthers, Giants. I count one bad loss to the Fins.

Punch it in…I'm with you 10000% ! Cousins despite his team is doing pretty darn well..you put him on the Pats and they win 13 games!! How many games would the skins win this year with Brady as QB?? maybe 10 tops..I hate to say this but i will be shocked if we win 9 games this year..i say more like 7-9 . but who knows I'm hoping to win out but this team has a lot of issues other than QB.

That may be true but I surely wouldn't want to be reading all of the opinions about that afterwards on this message board.

Hot, what their record since we played? Let me guess, we made them cold, or maybe they wasn't that good. Falcons done had more games given to them, than they just won. Jets, a one trick piney, and the Gaints was 0-2 when we played them. I guess you call that hot, what you call 2-0?
