Time to clean house 1.0.
Yeah i mentioned this was quite likely going to happen last week based on things said (and not said) on sheehans podcast with Cooley.
And i think it WILL help things... If Cooley’s arrival happens in conjunction with Allen’s departure. Any other moves are irrelevant if allen is still involved. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Bringing in a TE who was good for us 10 years ago isn’t going to fix the FO, structural, problems this organization has had over the last 20-30 years Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

And while i was wrong on the timeline, it just HAS to happen. It’s nonsensical if it doesn’t. The Cooley thing comes from comments on the podcast. And i don’t think Cooley coming in would going to fix anything if allen is here - NOTHING will fix this team unless allen goes. but Cooley could be a valuable asset to Schaffer and Smith if one of them is promoted to GM. I hope they go 3-13 next year, get the #1 overall pick and draft Tua.

If they get the #1 next year they’d be stupid not to take Herbert - QB

So no updates from the team? Nothing? Jay G hasn’t heard anything? Wtf is going on?

I think Danny is behind the curve. Seeking Joe G's advice about his next move indicates he was unprepared for the fan backlash. Maybe he blames everything on the injuries this year, after all we were 6-3 at one point (even though 2 of those losses were absolutely horrible). He's probably vacationing in the Bahamas trying to drink away the memories of this year, hoping the backlash will die down if he gives it some time. He probably doesn't even understand why we don't like Bruce Allen. |
Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
Since the retirement of Joe Gibbs after the 1992 season, a full year removed from the Redskins’ last Super Bowl on January 26, 1992, the team has posted a combined, cumulative regular season record of 168 – 230 – 2. The 168 wins is ranked 27th in the NFL, with the following teams being the only franchises that have fewer victories:
28: Rams (166) 29: Jaguars (165) 30: Lions (161) 31: Browns (111) 32: Texans (110) |

Based on the trajectories of the teams, i think it’s safe to say the skins will fall behind the rams, and possibly even jaguars next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Instead of making critical decisions regarding the future of the franchise, Snyder decided to take a vacation in the Bahamas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
"Jay Gruden has one request and that's to have stronger communication between the FO and coaching staff. What does Snyder do? Takes off for the Bahamas without meeting with his head coach."

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[/quote] There might be a simple explanation of why Snyder went on vacation at this time - and you're not going to like it. If Snyder has already decided to retain Bruce Allen and Jay Gruden, then he doesn't have any more urgent decisions to make. All he had to do was to tell them to fix it and then fly off to the Bahamas. Right about now, his butler is probably delivering him his first Bahama Mamma of the day to drink on the beach. No problem, mon! |
