Re: Who's your pick's for next HC, DC and OC?
I don't want any holdovers from this staff. Clean house. We need an experienced professional coach with NFL experience.

Really want either Shaw or an OC like Bevell or Roman.

Is there any truth to the Briles talk? |

Well I'll be honest and say I have not heard any of that through my own sources, but people I know who have very good sources say that it's legit My feeling is that it's a long shot |
Re: Who's your pick's for next HC, DC and OC?
Idk how I'd feel about that
After today I'm pretty much done.. I held the flag, was saying stay the course, do the extensin and maybe it's the rum talking but I'm over this team and regime.
GM-Scott Pioli-The team he put together in KC is doing pretty good with a real coach. HC-Lovie Smith-He wins, runs a disciplined team, players love him and love playing for him. OC-Joe Philbin-Let him teach RG3 how to fully play the position as he did with Rodgers DC-Raheem Morris-Relationships with Smith and the holdover players from the roster. I don't think we're far away from the team we were last year and expected to be this year. With foundation players RG3, Morris, Young, Garcon, Reed and Williams the offense has significant piecess. On defense, it's Kerrigan, Amerson, maybe Rak, maybe Riley, maybe Cofield. Other than that, everyone can kick rocks.
I'm a little more optimistic about our talent. Adding to your list Hall, Bowen, Golston, Doughty and Rambo on defense. But that mgmt/coaching tree I really like. A lot. |

Re: Who's your pick's for next HC, DC and OC?
My favorite thing about Art Briles is how unapologetically aggressive he is. The home run ball is not something that teams have traditionally done as a "we'll keep doing this until you stop it" thing. Scoring on the next play is Baylor's identity.
I think it's important to get an Air Raid guy in this division because it will give us a schematic advantage over Chip Kelly's rushing attack. The rules favor the air raid. Can't wait until Griffin is putting up cartoonish numbers in a scheme where he's going entire games without getting touched back there. Of course, the pass pro schemes are my number one question with Briles. |

We've been down this road before. Plus the conference he coaches in plays no defense. There's plenty of pro coaches that are qualified for this job. I wouldn't mind seeing Ken Wisenhunt come here. |
