I'm sure he wouldn't be calling telegraphed bullshit runs oh you know, 10 times per game only. Give #14 any decent OC available he'd do just as.good if not better than he already has been... sans OL troubles but better OCs would account for that. EB is expendable, Sam it not. |

You may wanna put this in the post game thread as this thread is dedicated to Howell. |

My bad .. thanks |
Re: The Sam Howell Thread
Its crazy but Sam Howell is litteraly carrying this franchise, he's playing at a CJ Stroud level but Stroud has better WRs than we do. Tank Dell and Nico Collins are LEGIT.

It would actually open up the run. Nobody complained about Don Coryell not running enough lol. I hope we become an absolute beast of a passing team with EB and Sam. Ill also point again to KC’s offense. They have scored 30 points twice this year. Do not be so quick to get rid of EB. A better line will help take the top off defenses and open up the run. |

They sure had some really good teams back then, Coryell was a great coach, but they could never close the deal. When you have an offense like this, sure it's great for numbers and all, but you are going to have days where passing the ball isn't going work- it could be that your opponent has a great rush, weather, injuries... There are some exceptions of course but having a pass first at all cost offense generally does not mean winning a SB. Sam is good enough to work w/ another OC. That is the least of my worries. |

Did you forget Chuck Muncie |
Re: The Sam Howell Thread
EB isn’t the problem. He’s a pass first OC and we all knew that. He’s making the games fun to watch at the very least

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
12 rush attempts by our backs yesterday in the rain. 51 yards
25 by Seattle ... just over 100 yards |
Re: The Sam Howell Thread
He will run it more I’m thinking but he also trusts Sam to be a dude and he has been. BRob has been very good too. Maybe EB doesn’t think the OL is good enough to run the ball much.. idk
