Re: Broncos to trade Cutler
That sounds awful to me. Two first rounders and a QB? Cutler isn't Jesus.
Jesus he is not. But, he is a Quarterback who threw for 4500 yards last year. I truly believe Cutler has a brighter future than Campbell, based only on observation of their play the last few years. If they both progress as they have over the last two seasons Cutler for Campbell and two first rd picks will be well worth a franchise quarterback..

I think we might be taken advantage of by the Denver Broncos again. Even though we should be in the driver's seat. We were in the driver's seat on the Champ deal to and look what happened.
I lived in Colorado Springs when Denver was winning SB's and we were in Ownership he** . I had serious moments of switching- Denver always having been my favorite AFC team for other reasons- but I stuck with us then. I am sure I will go to the grave a Skins fan, they just are driving me a little bit closer each day.... go skins. |

We were in the driver's seat on the Champ deal to and look what happened.
my feelings exactly, i dont know how much more of this kind of crap i can take. this is the same stuff we tried before gibbs came back, now once he leaves we go back to it. if we do trade for cutler, we better just rid of zorn and bring shanahan to coach. I just dont see much of a difference in cutler as a QB. And if we give up what the person said a couple posts earlier, that is insane. That would be like 3 players for 1, doesnt look like a good deal to me, but i am not a math major. I wouldnt even think it was a good trade for us if it was campbell and our #1 pick this year. Maybe campbell and our 3rd round pick. Denver should have no leverage they have a player who doesnt want to be there. |
I find it hard to argue with any of his points.
I agree that Wilbon brings up several legitimate points. The column makes the Skins seem so lost as an organization. I hope it's not that bad.

Funny to see how many people live vicariously through professional sports.

Re: Broncos to trade Cutler
If Denver wants two 1sts, could it be possible that the snag on this trade is trading Campbell to a third team?

go skins.
I, too, lived in Colorado Springs (CMAS) during those Plague Years, as I like to call them. Denver has always been one of my least liked teams and when they we're winning Super Bowls it only strengthened my dislike of them. I really don't fault Snyder as much as most people do for pursuing this trade. He's a business man and I think he's willing to look at any and all options to make his business more money. Personally, I will defecate a massive load if they acquire Cutler as a show of my dissatisfaction with the deal. |
Re: Broncos to trade Cutler
On ESPN.com...
A Cutler update Posted by ESPN.com's Matt Mosley There's one report already saying that a trade between the Washington Redskins and the Denver Broncos for Jay Cutler is "imminent." I just talked to a high-ranking member of the Redskins' organization who said "nothing has been completed," which at least lends support to the fact that something's going on. Dan Snyder doesn't like to waste any time, so it wouldn't surprise me if we hear something by the end of the day. Stay tuned. |

Cutler had two good WR's in marshall and royal. we are lucky to have one in moss, who is getting older as we speak. randle is at best a #3 and 2 rookies who didnt show us anything last year |

Re: Broncos to trade Cutler
we should be we are not going to just walk away. 2 first rounders is way to much , if you notice out of all the other teams in this we by far have the best QB yet we are the front runners. i can live with giving up a 1st and maybe ladell or someone like that but i dont the broncos will even give him up for two first round picks they will want more and we will give it to them

Hard to put links up if the board doesn't let you. Apparently you need about 10 posts to put links up. Sorry, I tried.
