On the Cooley's show on 980, Kevin called into a Wisconsin radio station where callers were being polled on Rodgers v Cousins. 90% said they would take Cousins over Rodgers.

Two huge take aways from this:

1. People in Wisconsin are stupid.

2. Cousins is viewed much better outside DC than he is here. (Not my original idea, but I agree totally.)

You are right with how they view him outside of the people within DC / the organization. One of my best friends is a Rams fan, he has said all year how he thinks Cousins would be an upgrade for the Rams if Goff turns out to be a bust. He is going to get his contract. It might not be here, but he will get it.

You know, he sure got a lot of hate around here when he was fired. And some of it was deserved. But where would we be right now if he didn't take KC in the 4th round of the 12 draft? He knew something, or had a hunch that maybe he needed a plan B if Griffin didn't work out. That draft pick might prove to be the best one around here in decades.
