thought the ep was a bit "meh." It still seems like they're just making it up a they go along.
yeah it is quite obvious they are, but it is a great strategy because alotta hardcore LOST fans try to sit and read signs and predict what the next episode will be like, but since they make it up on the spot there is no way of doing that. That way it is always interesting.

But I really think this has to be the last season because if there is another season then they are just dragging it on...

I thought Wednesday's episode was pretty good...the dude that was recruiting Juilet looks like the guy who was on Suddenly Susan...

The guy guarding the "A Clockwork Orange" place was one of the four main characters from the show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Also, there was another former Deadwood actress to appear on Lost (3 so far).

Well there you go.
I'm way too good at the whole "Hey, that guy was in [insert random movie/TV show]" thing.

Re: Lost

yeah, there' a lot of that though. juliet's boss was the DA for homicide: life on the street, i think the recruiter guy was from suddenly susan, and also played batmanuel on the live action version of The Tick (which got canned REALLY quickly).

Damn straight. Can't wait to see how things play out for Charlie in the coming weeks.

PS Desmond is becoming more and more of an interesting character.

Re: Lost

yeah, this week's was pretty good. which is nice, since last week's was almost completely pointless.

Re: Lost

I've really liked the last two episodes but I've heard that the rating are really falling off. I know the producers have talked about setting an end date for the show, which is a good thing because it should keep them focused on the questions they've already raised, but I hope they don't have to rush it because not enough people are watching.

Re: Lost

yeah, that's my worry...the execs rushing an ending because of falling ratings. If they move the damn show back to 9pm, they'll get some of their viewership back. But I wonder if their ratings include those who TiVo or DVR, like I do? I know several people who record the show because it's on a bit late...

I was thinking about that too. I think that sort of thing also spoils the show for people because there are not commercial breaks. My sister and her boyfriend just started watching the show, getting caught up through the DVDs and online, and they can't stand watching the normal broadcast because of all the damn commercials.
I wonder if network shows are going to start following things like TiVo stats and DVD sales as closely as they follow weekly ratings (for first run episodes) in the future. I feel like they'd have to or they'd risk cancelling a popular show who's viewers watch in a different format.

ANd as for the new timeslot, I also really hate it. Even though I normally don't go to bed until 11 or 11:30 anyways having it on so late sort of throws me off a bit.
