56.7% comp, 3739 yards, and 26 td's...how exactly do those stats compare to the stats of Young? Did you mean Young's numbers compared to Mannings after Manning played his first 9 games or something?

Well, technically it was my fault for comparing Young to Jones-Drew in the first place...but since Young didn't deserve it, it naturally belongs in this thread.
Still, does it matter? If it was purely about Vince young was overrated, then that would be the name of the thread.

Young is very good, just don't see him winning a title with the team he is on, or with his style of play. He is on par with Vick with regards to athletic ability, actually somewhat superior with regards to arm strength, but if he starts to really dance around like Vick does he is going to take some mega punishment and might end up like Donovan. Folks are taking bets as to how long MCNabb is going to last this season. I say by week 9-10 he will be hurt. Would love to see Landry knock him on his butt a few times on saftey blitzes!!!!!! Better yet would like him to do an impression of when Carrier(Lions) knocked Keyshawn out cold several years back in TB!!! Still the nastiest hit I have seen. Down goes Keyshawn! Ramsey had a "cannon" but it doesnt mean jack shit. Sorry to bring up this old thread, but I dont see how your favorite Redskins could even be Gus.
