Re: Skins get season opener against giants Sept 4, Thursday p.m. game.
Making any predictions right now is definitely ri-goddamn-diculous.
I think it will be something like 31-24, Skins win. Campbell will throw for 229 yards 2 tds, (but 2 picks as well) Portis will just miss the 100 yard rushing mark with 98 yards rushing, but will catch a td, while Betts gets a TD in a goal-line situation. Andre Carter will bat down a pass, have it bounce off of a NY O-lineman's shoulder pad, while Philip Daniels catches it in mid-air running 45 yards for a score off of the fumble. Oh, and the weather will hot and steamy -- mostly clear, with winds out of the SSE at 10-15 mph. ;) |
What do you mean they can set up any game they want?
The only games set in stone are games against same divisional foes...aka....Skin,Cowboys and Eagles.Yes they might be playing ....the AFC east that year but the NFL can substitute a game if they desire. |

I see. So you're saying even if say the Giants and Steelers were scheduled to play this year, the NFL could say "Scratch that, the Giants will now play the Patriots" |

Exactly, so you're saying that (as an example) right after this past Super Bowl Goodell could have said "That was a great game. I don't care that their divisions aren't scheduled to play next year we need to get the Patriots vs. Giants in the regular season. Move some other matchups around and make it happen." |

I'm pretty dumb as it is, missing more class would not end well. |
