Re: It's Dallas week!
Well, I think the dysfunctionality in their offense will not return after the bye week, but their line is still playing poorly, the receivers aren't getting off the ball, and the defense is awful.
So while dysfunction might not describe a Romo-led offense, they just aren't what they used to be. Which, of course, is far more problematic to fix.
if you read my previous comments on this thread Gtrip you'll see that I also said that the Cowboys problems were far more than just nor having Romo out there I went as far as saying you guys will take the W on Sunday. That the only way I could see us winning is if somehow our team steps up like they did in Tampa and play as a unit and you guys don't correct your own problems. |

I wasn't attacking you for your take on the game, nor would I care if you thought Dallas would win by 30. I had to respond to the stand alone post because a lot of people don't read the first two pages. It came off as somewhat misleading. You have to be objective to make money gambling on games, so I don't think you have any problem looking at this game objectively. |
Re: It's Dallas week!
How so, I never did get the problem with Romo last season, it was an extra week off after all(do we know where our players were last week?), and if TO wanted to do a book signing, do it last week. But to leave the team to go to NY during the week when your team has a big game? That's insane. If any Skins player tried to do it the coaches would not allow it, period. That JJ and WP allowed it just shows again why Parcells got out of there.
hhmmm.... interesting, Well I just read that Cooley and Campbell went to Disney World during the Bye Week... So much for your statement, does it hurt to put your foot in your mouth? |

As that should be of no surprise. Bye weeks are for taking a break, however you see fit. But where did you read that? In what article, link? |

Well, that was his point. LAST week was the bye week. Did Cooley and Campbell go to Disney World this week after practice? NO? Did Owens do his book signing and Late Night appearance during the bye week? NO. See the difference? It's a rudimenary time/space thing which, of course, is why it is beyond the grasp of a Cowboys' fan. ;) |
Re: It's Dallas week!
I see another win that will bury the cowgirls. My one concern though is you'll notice we're seem to play better on the road. Look at our biggest victories dallas, and philly in games that were'nt as close as the final score, We pushed them around in their place. Maybe we just squeeze in and become roadwarriors liket the giants last year, I mean it is our turn we win superbowls after the g-men. Week off inspirational 27-10 victory!!!!!!!

That's funny. Their foot has been in their mouth so many times this year they should be using "fast actin' Tenactin" as toothpaste. Maybe if the Dallas ownership, and some of the fanbase, did a little research before reacting, they would'nt come across as such buffoons. |
Re: It's Dallas week!
I can't believe we're dogs this week... so be it. Let the clippings fuel them.

Well T.O. has been known to be a prick, whereas Cooley and Campbell are not. And as someone said (just in case you didn't read it for the umpteenth time), Cooley and Campbell went to Disney during the bye week...last week, this week is not the bye week. It kills me when Cowboys and Giants fans (well some of them, not all - some of you made some good comments) on this board act surprised or are bothered by negative comments made here towards their team...well what do you expect, this is a Redskins board!! If I were to go to a Cowboys fan board, I'm not going to expect many complimentary comments towards my team. |
Re: It's Dallas week!
Well we will have our share of issues also. Especially if Portis is a no go and Moss is not 100% or not at all. Zorn will have to get crafty. I keep telling myself Zorn is holding something back. He is not opening up all his weapons cause he wants something to use and suprise teams during the second half of the yr. I'm just scared that I may be simply fooling myself. Maybe the two TE package rears it's ugly head this week. Maybe Zorn game plans with Thomas in mind. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I look for SS to be covering him like a cheap suit just like game 1. B.O was a none factor. But Los will be fine if he gets the nod......get ready to take your medicine B.O.! |
