Well if the Broncos want him they can just take him at 12
Re: It's Over: Cutler Going to Chicago
I just got back from break and here it is. This is the best news I could've heard. Our draft picks are safe, for now . . . .

Re: It's Over: Cutler Going to Chicago
Jeff Garcia? SS, where is that coming from?
From the voices inside my head |
Re: It's Over: Cutler Going to Chicago
There's actually some speculation that the Broncos are getting the Bears' first in 2011 as well (highly speculative though, maybe it's conditional)
that's pretty wild... 3 shots you have at landing a franchise qb and/or some others |

bum, bum, BUM!! |
Re: It's Over: Cutler Going to Chicago
Some rumors had us looking at shanahan to, So we could have a disgruntled qb and coach.
Jeff Garcia? SS, where is that coming from?

and there aren't any veteran superstars.
I'd imagine saying that Garcia would be an option |
Re: It's Over: Cutler Going to Chicago
What exactly?
SS, I was asking if this whole "let's get Cutler" situation was all Snyder, and VC and Zorn had to go along. And now they're like, "well we couldn't get him, let's move on with what we were planning on doing"? |
Re: It's Over: Cutler Going to Chicago
Well at least we found out that other teams really don't have much interest in Campbell so if he has a strong year his agent won't be able to leverage us into a mega deal because we will be able to call BS when the agent says there are many teams that really want him.
I think in fact I know that I'm just looking for some kind of silver lining. |

I think I answered your question in another thread |
Re: It's Over: Cutler Going to Chicago
Everyone is saying good, But how the hell do we handle Campbell now?
Maybe Campbell realizes his future is at stake, no more free ride. I'm looking forward to a great year from him. And looking at the cutler trade, orton to me is almost a nonfactor. that was all bout the picks. |

However he'll be a restricted free agent so our front office holds all the cards as well as the big red button. Hopefully though Campbell finds a way to summon up his inner 2004 Drew Brees. |
Re: It's Over: Cutler Going to Chicago
Jason Campbell will not be the starting QB this season. Redskins will pursue USC's Sanchez or a seasoned veteran QB. It is very clear that Mr. Snyder wants no part of JC and will do anything to replace him. Stay tuned.
It will be interesting to see how this unfolds. Clearly they have/had no faith or intention on keeping JC around at all, now its clear to all why he had no contract extension. He was never in the long or even short term plan, after last seasons finally. Can they work together this season, it's anyone's guess....? |

Redskins Insider - Campbell Says He's Ready to Move Forward It's funny how fans are waiting for Campbell to react the way that Cutler did, after being fan of a team that has had good character guys like Art Monk and Darrell Green. Campbell is a professional and is moving on. The team will come out and re-state that he's their QB and move on about their business. |
