That cover has a special place in my heart. My parents got me a subscription to SI that year (I was 9), and coincidentally that was the very first issue that came in the mail. Good stuff.

I think you're missing one issue. I believe it was the same year we lost to the Raiders in the Super Bowl. Memory serves me correctly, Joe Washington was on the cover. It was a barn burner too. Something like 38-35. It was close and high scoring!

Cool cover, but who the hell reads SI anymore, especially since they usually short change the Skins. Thank God he isn't on the Madden cover though!!!!
