Re: Jason Campbell for Vince Young ? Who would you rather have?
Precisely. And look at the contract Deion Branch got when he went to Seattle after playing with Brady AND what did Javon Walker and Freeman do after they didn't have Favre throwing to them. And how are Favre's n0-name WRs doing now? Outside of the elite WRs - Fitz, Moss, CJ, AJ, etc. Good QBs = Good WRs.
Berrian, Harvin i think he has some household name receivers but you left out the part where they have one of the best o-lines in the league and the best RB. You mentioned Aaron Rodgers makes plays you forgot again that he also has a top three at least WR tandem in the league, with Jennings & Driver that comeback for the ball when things breakdown plus a good RB in Grant. We are NOT a complete team on offense Cooley has to block, Moss gets doubled all game, o-line sucks, QB is decent but not great. |
Re: Jason Campbell for Vince Young ? Who would you rather have?
I know QB is the most important positon on the team so who or what are the Redskins going to do after the season is over about it. We cant kick JC to the curb like most of you want or do we put him into a offense that suits his skills? Or do we let him go and bring in a journey man stop gap QB. We have many holes on the O-Line so some of you want the FO to draft Bradford even if we need to give up picks to get him.

Re: Jason Campbell for Vince Young ? Who would you rather have?
I'd rather have Chase Daniels. Pull him from the Saints practice squad.

Okay Redskins Warrior do you think we should keep JC and put him in another system that fits his skills or just cut our ties? We know its not all on him but he doesnt appear to play with much confidence right now. Maybe its because he has no faith in his young WR and awful O-Line. |

Last week he was promoted to the 53 man roster, was he waived and re-added to the Saints PS? |

Well he did play in the Big 12. I'm not quite sure he would be a upgrade over JC or TC. I just put Vince Young out there because he to had success early in his career and a change os scenery might do him well. Plus he would be for cheap and he could run the wildkat offense to. |

If anything we should keep him here next year whether he proves himself or not keep him as the backup if you decide to draft one. Secondly, how can you judge a man's development under the circumstances he is playing in. Question right now if you placed Tom Brady here tomorrow and he couldn't get anything done does that mean he sucks? No it's means his habitat isn't workable. I would hate to see us let him go for him to be successful for someone else. Look at folks like Trotter, Pierce and others we let go to other teams that were successful elsewhere. JC has more talent than he is getting credit for. |

Even Sherman Lewis believes JC has talent. But are we using him the right way to use his talents? Did you see that O-Line? Wow its going to be a very long year and we still got Eagles Cowboys and G-Men again. Well we will be talked about alot on draft day. |

What households? Here's my ultimate argument against Campbell = He will never start for another team. Case closed. If he does, and that team is successful than I am a bigger idiot than I am under normal circumstances. If we cut him loose and none of the other 31 teams that have access to all of his video, are keenly aware of all the adversity he has had to face and can talk to anyone and everyone who knows anything about him, sign him to be their starter, than I will gladly admit I was wrong about J to the C. I don't believe there is a single team that says to themselves, "We are a Jason Campbell away from winning the Super Bowl" or "Jason Campbell is a guy we can build a winning team around". Instead, I think they will say, "Hey, that Jason Campbell fella is available. He has started more games than most QBs in this league, and he has learned how not to hurt his team. We should sign him as a security blanket for the 4th round QB we just drafted." Or if the Ravens creep on him, "Jason Campbell would make a great backup for our second stringer, Troy Smith." That was a low blow, I know. But I'm drunk and tired. G'night! |

He does? I saw him say Campbell was tall and had a big arm. It seemed to me he was trying not to say anything bad about him. He definitely wasn't gushing over him from what I saw. |

Lol yea and j Russell is tall and has a big arm, so what's the point? Jc is a backup qb at best and I've said that all offseason when I wanted cutler or sanchez! |

Berrian one of the best deep threats in the league. |
