This sounds like days of our SKINS hahahahahahahha.
we should dump both these CLOWNS and draft a QB as our 4th pick...then trade for another first rounder and get us some CJ SPILLER. PROBLEM SOLVED
And who's gonna block for them, don't let the South Carolina bias cloud your judgment. PROBLEM RETURNED |
Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis
Who cares about these two? Jc finally had a "career" year and cp is always hurt.. I would rather keep campbell because he's a true gamer, but this is dumb. It looks like these two just want to make excuses for our sad ass offense. Cp? I used to like him but I'm tired of his crybaby shit.
How is JC making excuses by replying to Portis's BS? |
way to go jc, after this i'm done with cp
I like Chris Paul |
Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis
JC just showed why he is a Captain. I hope he continues to grow and take the leadership role. KEEP JASON CAMPBELL. Portis has to be cut, he is a cancer. Dryer of GT is looking good tonight in the Orange Bowl... Too much talent at the RB position available next year.

LMAO he is a great PG |
Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis
JC just raised his stock in my eyes and probably Allen's/Shanahan's. Portis sounded like the bitchin employee that wanted to hang on when the new boss is introduced.
I don't know if I want JC back with the Skins but I do know that I don't want Portis on this team. It's a simple matter of addition by subtraction. Take the cap hit and release him. You lose one prima donna but set an example for 10 other players who will play harder for us next year... |
Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis
Funny how some you guys are blasting CP for sying the same things some of you have been posting about JC this whole season!!! Portis is a bit of an ass and his best days are probably behind him...but, he does own the franchise single season record (and if retained will have the career record), carried us on his back to the playoffs in 2005, changed his body to fit the Gibbs system (BTW- Gibbs absolutely loved CP...not so high on JC...wonder why), and may end up in the Hall. While JC is only known for being a mediocre to average QB at best. Say what you want about CP, he says what he thinks. Not like the "leader" JC who never speaks like a leader or performs like one. Taking a whipping doesn't make you a winner...it just means you can take punishment. Answer me this.....If JC is such a "leader" and the QB to lead us to the next level. Name any single game where he took the team on his back and lead them to victory. Can you? Come on...just one? And do not say the Saints game last year( one play does not a game make).

Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis
Good stuff JC, and screw you Portis. I am so done with this guy.

Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis
Who was getting sacked the entire year and you never heard too many complaints about it? Who was sitting out after a concussion supposedly sidelined him for the year, yet players like Brian Westbrook who suffered multiple concussions came back to play this year? I don't like this in fighting that is going on right now, but the Jason has battled and improved this year, you really can't question what he was about this year and there were plenty of times that he could have quit. Portis quit after the Atlanta game and there are multiple people on the team who really have questioned his work ethic (Sellers, Cartwright to name a couple).
There can't be separate standards for one player and then have the rest of the players follow a different path. Of course that was going to lead to resentment. This was all Dan Snyder's making and the reason that Portis is this way. Gibbs might have been able to coach Portis and get his respect, but once he left he didn't respect Zorn because Zorn wasn't an established head coach. Then Snyder stripped Zorn's authority and of course Portis ran all over him like he was an opposing defense. |

Sorry I worded it wrong, I should have said they were pretty much saying the reasons why our offense was so bad. I applaud Campbell for coming back at cp.. Portis is done, I used to like him because of his will to make great blocks but he's just a me guy anymore. Jc deserves to have another shot w us, but as Adam shefter said on espn earlier , he thinks shanny will bring in another guy to run his offense. |

Yes, they've both given what they had for the team's sake. One of them aired shit out in the media.. the other didn't. |
Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis
They better cut Portis and keep Campbell. Portis isn't good any more. Campbell played great for how shitty of a team he was on. And were paying Portis like $10 million a year. F...Portis

Right...because me and CP are the same person. Never mind that I am on a message board that factors less than a hundredth of a percent in the team's psyche compared to one of the highest paid players on the team. Lesson - there is a time and a place to bitch, this board is that place, to the media is not...grow up |
