Re: Jimmy Clausen has met with the Redskins
Uhhhh, are you really excited about Manassas for good looking women? Poor bastard...
Dude, come up to Downriver Detroit and you will understand my agony. At least in VA the women are not eating bon bons indoors for 9 months a year, chain smokers, or are on crack. Detroit til a couple years ago had the fattest women in the fattest state of the union. |
Dude you're reading way too far into it. He's with ugly chicks in a bar. Whatever. It's funny. I'm sure plenty of QBs all over the country pose for pictures with women of all shapes and sizes. It just so happened that these pics were posted in the chain email I got.
That said, I do NOT want him as our QB.
I am playing around GM. It is funny. He is the only QB with ugly gals. Actually they look average where I am. |
Dude the Danny Woeful thing was a total joke. I am playing. But a NFL ball is not thinner than a NCAA ball. I don't want Clausen as our QB, and the bit about his small hands was funny and just another BS reason for me not to want him. Not to mention that he can't get a pic on the net with some babes. God Damn Tebow's babe is smokin!!! And as for my thoughts about JC back in 2005? Like any draftee, it is a gamble, and to be honest I thought Gibbs took a gamble on JC. JC and his Auburn team were stacked with 2 first round RBs and one helluva O line. Was it JC or was it because he was flodded with talent around him? That is why I am not so sure about the likes of a Tebow or Bradford. The NFL is all about parity these days, unless you are lucky to be on one of the elite teams left in the league. We should keep JC because he has survived many systems and does seem to be getting better statistically. Plus you have to think Collins is toast. I don't trust MR Hawaii at all. He was a cheap gamble for sure.
Those "elite" teams frequently are elite because they have QB's who were taken high (Manning, Rivers, etc.) |

Awww man. Run. Run far far away. Pay a visit to Florida for a while. Gainesville, Miami, St. Petersburg/Tampa, and Ft. Lauderdale should cure what ails you. |

In the link I provided you can hear it from Clausen himself and Clausen says April 9th, he'll do everything. Now 53 what are you going to believe, Clausen or message board nonsense :D
Dude the Danny Woeful thing was a total joke. I am playing. On some days I'll actually agree with you concerning JC but today is not one of those days. Favre and Brady weren't. And as for those elite teams, they are all stacked with talent also. It is like what came first, the chicken or the egg. Do you think Peyton Manning could make the Detroit Lions winners? Brady inherited a stacked team from Bledsoe, plus probably the best FO in football at the time. Plus you probably missed my other thread posts about the second tier team QBs. Brees was from Purdue. Favre was from Ole Miss, Manning was from Tennessee. All good teams for sure, but not the powerhouse caliber of Florida, Bama, or Oklahoma. Those 3 made there respective teams better and faced tough competiton, thus in my mind making them better suited for the parity of the NFL. The only successful contemporary NFL QB that came from a big program was Brady, and he was a 6th round pick. In short, these QBs from the NCAA superpowers are spoiled and might have a rougher time making it in the NFL than a guy that played around a less talented team, but still was a winner nonetheless. |

What is wrong with Manassas? Virginia gals can't be worse or even equally as bad as Detroit women. I am not moving for women either. |
Re: Jimmy Clausen has met with the Redskins
Here you go Dirtbag. Casserly was the culprit. I guess we'll see come April.

If you're moving to Manassas, talk to Skinny Tee. He can give you the scoop. |
Re: Jimmy Clausen has met with the Redskins
Back to Jimmy, look at these throws and tell me this guy can't play. Keep in mind he's playing with a torn big toe.

Re: Jimmy Clausen has met with the Redskins
Well I don't see the infatuation with him. IN another thread I said he didn't get ND to a bowl and he had better talent than Kafka from Northwestern, who got his team to a bowl and led the Big Ten in total offense. I know the TD/INT ratio isn't so hot, but damn he was the NW offense.
In actuality they were eligible for a bowl, but decided not to play in it b/c Big Chuck got shit canned. |
Re: Jimmy Clausen has met with the Redskins
I guess its a little late but...is it a foregone conclusion that Redskins go qb? I was kind of hoping that Okung was the top choice
Not at all a foregone conclusion. I'm still hearing that if not Bradford then Charles Brown is their top choice. But to me that means they must be thinking trade down. Because I really can't see them taking Brown at #4. Now if they stay at 4 and Bradford is gone then I think they're going with Okung or Davis before Clausen. That could always change though. It's not even March |
Re: Jimmy Clausen has met with the Redskins
What? Where do you get that?
There have been reports that his attitude could use a little makeover. I realize the guy's young and has a lot of maturing to do. When there's controversy surrounding any individual there's always going to be pro's and cons, some say good, some say not so good. I'd rather find out for myself because I've learned there's always two sides to every story. |
Somewhere a Golden Eagle is crying.
Right here a Golden Eagle is crying. Favre is from Southern Miss, GusFrerotte, not those lousy, baby-eating, animal-marrying Ole Miss Rebels. |
