Sorry Schneed, but wine is older than beer. Since it is in Man's DNA to drink whatever alcohol is available it is manly for man to drink wine. Wine came before beer which came before whisky.

Is it still considered wussy if you drink Pina Colladas by the whole pitcher?

In most situations...yes. In a pool with a floating tiki bar on an island somewhere? No.

To me whether it is manly just comes down to... is it fruited up and made to taste like something a kid would drink just to get it down? Most wines simply aren't. Most frozen drinks are. They're Slurpees. Kids drink. Not manly.

OK fine, back then wine was the manliest thing you could get your hands on. But it's not now. So what's your excuse, girl?

LOL, you can never be manlier than the original...bitch.

In all seriousness most good wine isn't all that fruity. Beer is still number 1 in my belly.

I really don't care if its manly or not if I can catch a buzz from drinking it who cares.

drinking mass quantities of a girlie drink does not lessen the girlie factor

You can get a buzz from shit too...and it costs practically nothing.

Once you get in the 70s, several things happen. One is, you stop celebrating birthdays. I've forbidden my wife -- I said, "Please, no birthday things! I don't need to pretend to open a gift and say, 'This is just what I wanted!' " I said, "Don't get me anything. We'll just have a glass of wine." Seventy-nine is not so bad. I might savor it for a while.

Oh well, I don't drink anyway. When I did though, I'd tear up some Pina Colladas and Margaritas. I don't care if they're considered girlie. Those drinks get you drunk as a fart.
