Teams love his talent but dislike his work ethic. To answer your question AH ...is stopping AH from being traded.
If memory serves, the G-men were trying to sign AH at the same time that the Skins were. Don't act like your team is totally uninterested in him. |
Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?
dang!! I saw this thread and was hoping like crazy it was true. But im calling bs. I dont think a team will touch this cancer.

No act,the Giants solved there problems last year, they just need the players they have to stay healthy.Yup the Giants went after old AH but after seeing how he was with you guys after getting the big money.....you can keep him. |

Don't worry, he'll help you guys sweep us again. He takes the double team and everyone else you have goes man-on-man against the likes of Mike Williams, Stephon Heyer, and Artis Hicks. |
Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?
What about the Vikings? Isn't Pat Williams planning on retiring soon?

Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?
Aside from his work ethic and occasional shitty attitude -- what is it exactly that most people don't like about AH?
Do we really just want a clean slate? Is it that he's the last expensive, overblown, cap-eating, waste left to us by Vinny? And, more importantly, is it possible that our run defense might just suffer without him? |

In his first season in Washington last season, Haynesworth was slowed by injuries and not in top physical condition. Shanahan's desire to excise Haynesworth from the roster stems from Haynesworth's reluctance to play nose tackle in the Redskins' new 3-4 scheme and his decision to train individually instead of participating in the voluntary offseason conditioning program at Redskins Park. Although Haynesworth only appeared in 12 games last season, he participated in the second-highest total of plays among Redskins defensive linemen. |

Personally, I wouldn't be shedding any tears to see him go either. Just interested in what people thought. |

Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?
Didn't they just sign the guy from Carolina to play NT? Is AH's role even defined yet? I just don't understand why he's not on board. Kris Jenkins was a 4-3 DT, came to the Jets and didn't have a problem playing NT. I just think if he was a true team guy he'd do what ever they asked him to do.

Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?
He said that he would do just that skinsfan
I know that Shanahan wants him there but at least Al had a good excuse.. he needed more one-on-one and specialized assistance to get back into form. The guy last year said he wanted to be able to earn his contract and didn't feel like he was put into the right position to do it. He said he's not getting paid all of that money to not be more productive. Then this offseason he makes a commitment to return to form and says that he'll do what they ask of him. Mentioned DE would be a good fit since it's so similar to DT in the 4-3. Yet he's a fat, piece of shit, cancer that we need to get rid of people? The guy saw our offseason program last year and probably wanted nothing of it. Of course that's different now but I'm sure that he already had things lined up for his training well before all of this. If he shows up out of shape then it's an issue. |

Haynesworth to report to the April 16-18 minicamp
Twitter / Jason Reid: Defensive tackle Albert Ha ... Read something earlier that when someone called to ask him about trade to Philly potential he said "I got nothing for you man" and Speck also talked to them and said that they had no comment. |

He has nothing to lose, and all that would lead to is a trade. I still haven't seen any credible source to say that there's such a rift. While they may not be buddies, I still think this whole "issue" has just been overblown by Florio and his buddy LaCanfora. |
Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?
Ithink he will stay, and hopefully the guy steps the fuck up and plays......
