Smoot I am a little confused by your post. Was it Skins players who bought the drinks?
No, guys in the media from DC. Mainly behind the scenes people |

Gotcha. That's an interesting inside story. Pretty cool for the local guys to do that. Wasn't there some story or rumor out there about LT sending prostitutes to visiting teams hotel rooms the day before Giants home games or was that Bill Parcells? OR it was a bunch of BS. |
Re: Russ Grimm On Canton, Hot Dogs, and The Hogs
Now this would have been the party to attend, sounds like they had a blast!!

Re: Russ Grimm On Canton, Hot Dogs, and The Hogs
That sounds like a fun group to be around. Just to have been there drinking at the bar with all those guys there would have been awesome.
Some of my former colleagues, DC media folk, have told me stories of how the night before Super Bowl XXII, as a bit of revenge for what happened in Tampa, they bought Broncos players shot after shot, drink after drink posing as Broncos' fans; getting them hammered and wasted just hours before kick-off.
That is true SmootSmack! (Dif Subject) Back in the day Jacoby and Bostic(If I remember correctly) would tend bar at a place in Rockville (355 and Shady Grove). I tried to hold my own with Jake but the man put me down in about an hour. I could not keep the pace, those Hogs could drink! |

I believe that was JJ Muldoons, but I could be mistaken as that was well before my time. I vaguely remember my parents going there as a kid, as that was one of the places they used to frequent (JW Gaither's and Studebaker's were the others). |
